"G&S did an excellent job installing our new furnace and AC unit. The best thing about G&S is that they warranty for 1 year. The circuit board in our furnace failed within a couple of months (no fault of G&S). Manufacturers warranty would cover the parts cost but G&S repaired and covered labor cost under their warranty. Also they diagnosed the issue and repaired very quickly. Definitely A++ installation and service."

"I would highly recommend going through Freedom Systems for all of your security needs.  Jimmie came out and gave me a quote for a new security system and a high def camera system, he really knows his stuff.  We decided to forgo the camera system since we were able to integrate a camera into the security system.  Even though they were busy and short one installer, they went above and beyond to get our security system installed within a week.  The installers were quick, efficient and didn't leave a mess. There was an equipment malfunction, but they came back out next day to replace the part.  I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

"Greg did a VERY thorough inspection of a home I was planning on buying. After finding some really egregious problems, we decided to cut the inspection short. Not only did he offer to reduce the price of the inspection, because it was cut short, he probably saved me $100k on foundation repairs. By the time I got home that day, I had an extremely detailed inspection report, with photos and great descriptions. I decided to hire Greg again for the next house, and I had him do a sewer inspection as well. Both were very thorough and extremely helpful in helping me decide to move forward with the home or not. Greg is one of those old-school guys that seem to know everything about construction and homebuilding. They just don't make 'em like Greg anymore! Highly recommended."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Zach did some work for me back in November and it required some holes in the walls. The blow-dryers and flat-irons in the bathroom would trip the circuit breaker for the lighting circuit in our condo so they became unusable. I figured since the holes were already in the wall and Zach did such good work, I would bring him back to run a dedicated 20-amp circuit for the bathroom, and replace the single duplex outlet with a 4-outlet box. He replaced the existing outlet as opposed to re-using it, and put in a brand new GFCI plug. It looks beautiful and the spouse really loves using her blow dryer on 'high' now. Thanks again, Zach!"

"After a great first experience, we had Shane from Mister Sparky come out a second time to wire and install a ceiling light in our living room for us. We scheduled the work for a day that I was home alone, but that didn't bother me for a moment. I felt completely comfortable and safe having Shane doing the work while I was the only one home.
Shane showed up on time as expected and although we had discussed our plans prior, he took the time to go over what he was going to do. He wired in a new light switch and hung the appropriate equipment for the ceiling fixture. Our living room looks beautiful now - it's amazing what a light fixture will do!
Shane is personable, professional, punctual. If we ever have electrical work to do again, we will absolutely call Mister Sparky and ask for Shane.

"While on vacation in Vancouver, BC, we got word from a friend who was checking on the house that he had to put out a fire in our main electrical meter box. Needless to say, we were ready to head back home when we couldn't reach our regular electrician. We phoned 3-4 Angie's List A-rated electricians and left messages to call us ASAP (one called back; the other never did).
Finally one electrician answered and referred us to POP Electric, very close to our house. Darren, the owner, talked to us himself and had Chris, the previous owner of POP, out to our place within 2 hours. Chris checked in with our friend and us throughout the process. The problem was faulty installation by PSE, and Chris had the problem repaired in about 5 hours. He checked inside the house for other problem and even checked on our freezer.
We are grateful that POP handled the problem by phone and email with us and experted solved the problem - and that we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We think the price was very reasonable - especially considering the circumstances - and plan on using POP as our go-to electrician in the future.
