He dismissed other's suggestions and told me all I needed was a screen built around the chimney exit point to ensure birds didn't nest. He showed up on time, went right to work, building a custom screen around the opening, and the price was more than fair. Luckily he didn't have to remove any birds or pests, so the price wasn't very high."

"I had Best Chimeny out for a repair estimate. I had been quoted a lot of money from a different company and wanted a second opinion. My understanding from my initial home inspection led me to believe the first estimate was off. Best came out and completed an inspection. I was informed that it was a few simple repairs that would be needed and the price was about $1500 cheaper than the other company that want me to put in a whole new fire box and chimney stack. <br /> I have not contracted the work out yet but the inspector was professional and nice. He explained what he found and how we can use our fireplace more safely. He answered our questions and gave recommendations for our future fireplace remodel."

"I needed a complete roof replacement, including tearing off the old wood. The owner, Don DePriest, came out for the estimate. He spent two, unrushed hours going over various details of the job, including shingle types and colors, wood options and ventilation considerations. He even fixed a couple of nail holes while he was inspecting the roof. He was extremely polite and professional and truly listened to all of my questions and needs. One of the most important topics we discussed was ventilation (fascia vents, solar powered vents and baffles), which the two other companies I met with did not even mention. This was important to me since my house has very few soffit vents. I decided to get all of the aforementioned vents and baffles, GAF Ultra HD shingles, along with an upgrade to 1/2" OSB wood. I was kept up to date with scheduling by Cassie, who was also very polite, professional and friendly. The crew arrived a few minutes before their scheduled appointment to get ready, so they were very punctual. Robby was the crew foreman and he had a crew of 7 people: Anthony, Albert, Aaron, Trey and three guys named Mike. (It was surprisingly easy to tell the three of them apart!) THESE GUYS WORK HARD!! Robby ran a tight ship. They put a lot of effort into their work. They were efficient, professional and polite, just like their owner Don. I found out they are Don's only crew, so he makes sure they treat the customer like the way they want to be treated. They did a fantastic job! They protected my windows and shrubs and cleaned as they went about their work. They also did a great job on my chimney flashing, which had deteriorated and looked quite shabby. Everything was done to my satisfaction. The finished roof looks outstanding! They also did a very thorough job with the cleanup, including using a leaf blower to blow all the debris from the roof, gutters and surrounding area. The nail rake picked up just about every loose nail. Since completion, I've only found one nail and a small piece of an old shingle. I am 100% satisfied with Renaissance Roofing and highly recommend them to anyone needing roof work. Don and his crew are fantastic. I highly respected their work ethic and how they went about their duties. I'd love to do business with them again, but it will probably take 25 years since they did such an outstanding job on the roof!! Final note: I waited two months before submitting my review to make sure there were no problems with the roof, shingles or vents. We've had a few severe storms and high winds during that time and I'm happy to report that I've had no problems with the roof materials or installation. (And if you read articles about roof advice, the installation is just as important, if not more important, than the materials.)"

"Craig was very professional from start to finish.  We have a gas fireplace that we haven't used since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago.  We called Craig and made an appointment to come give us and estimate.  He not only gave us an estimate but he gave us a lot of good suggestions on how to make the fireplace look good.  So agreed to have him do the work.  Craig came back after 2 weeks and did the following work.  <br /> 1. He painted the inside of our fireplace black so when the new fireplace doors are installed it will look like a tv screen and it <br />      made  it look darker and nicer. <br /> 2. He removed some of our ceramic logs and replaced them with better ones he had at his shop at no charge.  <br /> 3. He cleaned all the junk stuff that had fallen into our fireplace. <br /> 4. He added new pebbles/fireplace dirt <br /> 5. He rearranged everything that made the fireplace flame look bigger and brighter. <br /> 6. He purchased a door for us that we selected from the brochures he should us at the time he did the estimate.  He installed the <br />     door and showed us how to use it. <br /> 7.
