"Very happy we had Contek repair and remodel our living room. Started with a prompt visit by Corey and a detailed quote shortly after, and we then got on their schedule about 6 weeks later. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. We did have a few finishing items we weren't initially satisfied with, but I'm only saying this because they made it very clear that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied, and to tell us of any concerns. "After setting the intention of finishing my basement, I knew I was going to be meeting with at least a dozen GCs in the Lehigh Valley area. As a homeowner, this is a massive investment so I was very careful in my selection process. After meeting with John Zyskowski, it was very clear to me that he was a level above all the other GCs that I met with. John was one of the very few that had a strong professional background as a GC in home building. And for what he was offering in our agreement, the pricing was very reasonable. I was very specific with him that I wanted a soundproof basement from the rest of our house, so that I could enjoy my home theater sound system without bothering people upstairs, and he absolutely delivered on that. Other aspects like the plumbing for the full bathroom were very complex, but with Johnâ s experience it was no issue for him. He is very easy going and friendly. He will never put pressure on you as a client and will listen to what you want most out of your finished basement, that was what I appreciated most. I highly recommend setting up a meeting with him."
