"We hired Maxi Serve for some water damage after a pipe that connects to the water heater broke causing a leak into a bedroom below it. Maxi Serve inspected the damage, saw that there is some mold, removed the mold, and then drywalled & painted it. The service was professional and courteous. Work was done on time and within budget."

"I called Servpro and Edwin came out looked at my garage wall and provided an estimate based on what he could see. The garage was fairly well organized but there were some plastic containers up against most of the walls with the exception of the one wall where I had found the mold. By the time Edwin came out, I had already had an independent mold inspector lab test to identify if it was indeed mold (it was) and had 3 or 4 other mold companies come out for an estimate. I was impressed by how straightforward Edwin was and had seen a couple of good review of Angie;s List. His estimate was not the least expensive but it was competitive and I felt he was taking a more comprehensive approach. He was also the only one out of 4 professionals that found the source of the moisture (a rain gutter burrowed into the ground.) Edwin was always responsive, professional and thorough. He was able to work within my budget and always came when he said he would or called to let me know if there would be a delay. Once he began to empty the garage he found more mold on the walls (which he showed me) and still honored his price. I always felt his priority was doing the job right. When the indep. inspector came out to clear the job (air samples) he was reallly impressed with the work. Edwin made the job a breeze and they cleaned up after themselves really well. I would definitely use Servpro again (although I hope I never have to!)"

"They were very professional in providing me with a quote and I liked that they used docusign for the agreements. The price was similar to others that were quoted. I appreciated that they even removed some additional drywall that we requested outside of the initial quote. They showed up on time and completed the work in the time allotted. I was thrilled, initially, until I stopped by to review the work. They did not remove the drywall or remediate the area with the ACTUAL DAMAGE that was included in the original scope of work. Then, when I asked them to come back and take care of it, they were combative and blamed me because I didn't mark the walls for them-- even though we had discussed it multiple times. They even said that because they did me a favor and removed extra that I should be happy with them not removing the actual moldy drywall. It was frustrating because as water damage professionals, they should be able to see where the water damage is and want to make sure that the hazard is removed. They finally agreed to come out and complete the work. And, overall, the quality of the work was disappointing. They didn't clean up well after they were done. Chunks of debris were left all over the space. I don't know how they are certified restoration specialists if they don't even vacuum up the space after they are done. Additionally, their work was sloppy. They didn't leave clean cuts and took too much off in certain places which made it difficult for the drywallers to put up new drywall. The ripped the metal drywall corners and bent them so that they were poking out and risked impaling someone."

"It was fine. There was no other cost. The Big Deal covered it. They wanted to treat and stuff, but I ultimately decided not to do anything. The service was done fairly soon after I purchased the Big Deal. It was pretty basic thing so it was fine. It was not so much them that I had issue with, but the service did not really do much. It was just like they were trying to get over and do future service which I understood purchasing it. It wasn’t much to it. They were fine. I do not have a problem with their company. I just think the deal has no real value to it. They did not do anything wrong. It is just the deal was not amazing. I thought there was going to be a little more to it. It just seems silly to pay someone for an estimate basically which is what it was in effect."

"He did a very good job. It was an emergency situation and he responded very quickly. He arrived to my house in less than 45 minutes after I called him. He was there till 8.30 in the evening and referred another company to clean up the mess that happened due to the leak. Later he came back and worked for the entire weekend to get things done. He located the pipe leak and rerouted the pipe to bypass the slab which is a great deal of work. His pricing was very reasonable and I would highly recommend him. He also gave 10% discount for Angie's list customers and it saved over a 100 bucks for me."
