"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We just had a French drain installed along with a new sump pump and pit in our basement and had the floors epoxyed afterwards. The project manager, Kenny, was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning he explained everything that their team would be doing, gave me updates throughout the day. If I had a question or concern Kenny was patient with me and continued to make sure any questions/concerns were addressed, even telling me to call him if I thought of any other questions. Their crew was very respectful of the property by making sure to lay out tarps to protect the floors, and made all attempts to manage the noise since we were home. Whatever was left in the basement they made sure to cover and protect. And if something needed to be moved they moved it and moved it back. When it came time to lay down the epoxy there was a scheduling hiccup. Kenny though went out of his way to make it right by coming right after another job and staying late to make sure we're stayed on schedule since I was having out of town guests coming that weekend and needed access to the basement. Working with Select Basement, but especially Kenny, made this one of the best experiences and I highly recommend them. 10 out of 10!"

"Ned and his team did a great job in my backyard. They rebuilt my steps, added drainage and made my pavers look brand new. Ned was great to work with. He kept me up to date throughout the entire project, sent me pictures and videos of all the work. Extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the cost and the attention to detail. Would definitely use them in the future for other projects and highly recommend them to others."

"Fantastic. Ben's crew arrived on time as promised and tore out a section of the walk, pouring new concrete and building new steps that were to the correct height. And they were level. Nice looking and much safer! The crumbling wood driveway border was torn out and replaced with belgian blocks, cemented in place. The crew leveled everything up and trimmed the installation with asphalt patch. We've had many comments on how nice everything looks. I will definitely use BVL again for any construction or restoration project."

"We were walked through the permitting process which was great since we did not have the experience for that. Work commenced as scheduled. Job site kept clean and neat as the debris was taken away. The porch as rebuilt and the brick and stone steps applied. The board between the old porch and the house had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. New flashing was applied and then a long lasting material applied. We were happy that that the Company had the skill to do it. Final inspection was scheduled.

Not only was the work fantastic, but we were guided towards the materials that made the porch and steps really more than we thought we could have. Would recommend them hightly."

"The team at Basements Love Us was excellent! They were clear and upfront about exactly what work needed to be done, and we were confident they were giving us the best deal possible. They completed the work quickly and in line with our schedule. After a number of large rain storms, our basement has remained dry!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Bloomfield, NJ

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
