It has been 7 months and our job isn't done. I have had to buy electric heaters for my house which is still not enough and I have documented the inside temp of my house down to 47° I have had a second contractor come in and look at what has been done so far and was told that the furnace and air handler are installed incorrectly and that the wire that they installed is incorrect and out of code as well."

Handy Services Inc. has been in business since 2008 and offers a wide verity of services. We developed our company in a way that can meet most any residential or commercial property needs. When we started out we were managing apartments for landlords and we saw a big problem when we would have to call six different companies to get repairs completed at these properties. So we decided to offer these services as part of our contracts to the property owners. After a bit of time we were able to stream line the processes and make it more affordable to the client. This was done by extensive training, and having the tools and equipment available when needed. In 2011 we branched out to the homeowner and started offering these same services on a one on one basis. During the same time frame we started getting requests from small business owners to offer them the maintenance and repairs at their businesses as well. Over the years we have built and remodeled convenience store, offices and retail locations. We currently service stores like Dunham`s sporting goods, The Kids Place and more. We pride ourselves on have quality employees with clean background records and drug screens. We are a Registered Federal Contractor, and Osha Certified. In addition to our PA Contractor License and Home inspection Certification, we hold a mold abatement license that we utilize for mold testing and abatement. We offer a flat rate billing service, meaning you will know the prce before we start, all you are responsible for is a service call fee. This charge covers our travel and up to the 1/2 hour or until your concern is evaluated.

We continue to grow with 4 trucks and a varying number of employees certified to take care of any plumbing, heating, or electrical needs 24 hrs a day. We only subcontract AC and some sewer line work. We bill by the hour from the time we leave the shop till half way between the next job. Billing is by the quarter hour. Trip charges more than 1/2 hour from shop will also incur a 50 cent per mile xtra charge.
