"We had a pipe break in our yard coming from the meter. We called and had a person out to repair the broken line. He showed up when we expected and had the break fixed in a short time. Justin was courteous and respectful of our home. The price was fair and we would not have any reservations to use this company again if we needed."

"They sent out two guys. One did the pressure test on the plumbing which all checked out OK. Another guys was actually in the pool looking around for leaks and doing and quot;dye testand quot;. <br /> He patched some liner leaks, but the really BIG LEAK was behind the pool light. <br /> They repaired and came back in a couple days to re-install the light. Well, the light didn't sit in there quite right and they asked us what we thought. We asked them to come out again and see if they could seat the light back in there better. <br /> Well, they did and we couldn't be more pleased. <br />"

"Called out to look at A/C not working. I got great service and customer service. I called them back out for a quote to have gas logs line ran from meter to logs, & was pleasantly surprised at the quoted amount. Again, I received great customer service and they answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this company."

"He arrived on time after calling telling me he would soon be at my home I thought was great so I would not be startled. He introduced himself at the door. When he came in to install new sink I asked questions and he was very knowledgeable of what he was doing. I then asked him about how much new faucets would be and cost of install he took a look and advised me he could repair. I was? so happy since we are on a budget. He repaired and installed all upstairs and on his way out I asked if he could look at 1 more problem he did not hesitate to say yes. I took him downstairs and immediately he found the problem and fixed it. He came well prepared and made me feel like we been friends for years. I will call him for all my needs."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Bon-air, AL

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
