"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.

"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. "I had Monster Steamer here last August to clean the carpeting (which is several years old) after I moved in. They did an excellent job then and just as wonderful today (June 16, 2015). My carpeting was in terrible shape after construction in the area had created a lot of dust and loose asphalt that came in on everyone's shoes. "I highly recommend Landmark construction energy crew.  We live in a waterfront home and we have had several drafty & leaky windows, some of them single glass and the rest are double glass, (18 windows). And a lot of them were odd shapes, not just rectangles and squares.  Five of the windows had to be new construction (not just replacement) to bring them up to work.  We called Landmark construction energy crew and Ezra and Charlie came over to our house and gave us an estimate for the complete work.  Both of them were very informative, honest and made us feel relaxed and confident about this work and about hiring them for that.  Ezra assured us that this was a big job and that it will take close to 3 weeks to complete the replacement of them, but they could do it.  And they did.  Overall it took them about a month to order and manufacture all the windows.  The installation crew, including Jason, Jose, and Roberto, did a beautiful job.  It took five days, but the house was always left clean after the work day was done.  The installation was beautifully done.  What a pleasant experience.  And we love our new windows.

"After purchasing the Big Deal, the provider contacted us promptly and was helpful in explaining the service.  They explained that an additional area we wanted to clean would cost a reasonable amount more, on top of the Big Deal, which seemed fair.  They arrived on time.  The wood was turning green before the service, but looked perfectly clean and new after the service.  Our only concern was that one thin wooden banister was nearly broken following the treatment, which we understand can be common with power washing.

"First of all The Plumbers sent out Jesse and Todd to finish the work here, were very Professional and took care in not ruining the tile work of sink and were very good at cleaning up after themselves and was pleased they wore booties coming into the house. Jesse made it a point to get this problem fixed and taken care of promptly while still being very professional and explaining what he was going to do every step of the way. I purchased the deal for $89 for $200 of plumbing work and figured it would be enough. Well not really the old fixtures were very old and rusted, the u joint as well as other parts on the bottom were so old had to be replaced if I wanted new fixtures the initial price was 369 in minus the200, halfway through the project after a lot of work it turns out that the old fixtures were not standard at all and were a lot more narrow in diameter than american standard, so to accommodate I would have to either find the narrow diameter fixture or have a person trained in marble come and open up the hole..I said I would try to find the narrow size, if I couldn't find they could special order narrow size and place them in and I would pay for the fixtures. Ok after multiple days and specialty shops there was no narrow size available. So we went with option B and had the install their own brand Turns out was still to big to fit hole and with no sink I figured why not and had them grind down and take the risk so the new price including the fixtures was $769 including the $200 From deal so total was $969 pretty pricey, I am assuming I am paying 100 per fixture as I am using theirs. The Guys were Very professional and understanding regarding the size of the fixture holes. All in all if I had to do it over again I would have kept my original fixtures, maybe hired a handyman. But who knows how that would have turned out."

"The HERS audit consisted of a home inspection that mapped the exterior, listed all appliances, HVAC, Water heater, etc. They also performed and Door Pressure Test and Duct Leakage Tests. All these figures were placed in a computer model and the output was provided to me in 2 reports, an existing state and the impact of recommended changed on a future state. 
The testing procedures were interesting but the reports are the what you are really paying for. I my case my newer home was relatively efficient and the recommend changes addressed my comfort level concerns, but were all relatively expensive. Per the model, a majority of my electrical expenses are associated with my appliances, so energy savings were comparatively minimal.
Recommendations and Costs
1) Convert to "conditioned" attic space, requiring the installation of closed cell foam in the rafters of the attic and the removal of all existing batt insulation (~$7,00)
2) Install an ERV whole house ventilation system to provide continuous fresh air
3) Replace 5 existing double pane windows with 5 new triple pane windows (~$2,500)
4) Install open cell foam insulation in my south facing walls (~$3,500) when you include repair and paint walls
These recommendations will dramatically improve the comfort in the upstairs, but ultimately energy saving paybacks are many years. I plan to implement recommendations #1 and #2. I also plan to install Solar to stabilize my electrical bills.

"A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing.
