"Very professional service and fair price. The technician Alex is a very nice and professional person, he explained everything to me and also complied with the safety and sanitize measures to work at my place."

"Restoration 1 of Washington DC provided excellent customer service! The owner was helpful in explaining my options. I highly recommend this business!"

"Jon from MoldGone easily saved me more than a thousand dollars by providing an expert opinion on proposed mold remediation by another company. His response was very timely, and he actually turned down the opportunity to undertake work, saying that the situation did not warrant remediation by his company. It was very refreshing to have someone advise that their services were actually NOT required in this instance. Should I every have any future questions regarding mold remediation, Jon will definitely be my first call."

"I am in the commercial construction business, found this vendor through Angie's List... Recently my in-laws' had their entire basement flooded, yes, 9' HIGH OF STORM WATER filled to the ceiling, completely ruined a finished basement, HVAC, electrical panel, etc. Armor Restoration gave us a competitive price, and both Norman and Bob were very responsive to our requests, very service-oriented. Armor was prepared to mobilize and git-r-done. They brought out two crews to hand-fill (two!) 30-cubic-yard dumpsters full of ruined stuff and materials. They helped us sort through salvageable personal items, and gave us great advice on just about everything we had questions about. Before they started, the basement was beyond awful smelling (some sewage waste got in too) and making the rest of the house smell too. In two days of working, removal was done, basement was stripped to bare concrete, cleaned, treated with anti-microbial spray, and smelled very clean. Incredible. The workers were all very professional, courteous and took great care to protect the pathway in-out of the basement, which was through the front door. If I had my house flooded, or smoke-damaged, I would hire Armor Restoration in a hot minute. Can't say enough good things about them. Thanks again for being awesome."

"I have near-gut renovated two row houses in NW DC over three years including ambitious basement renovations and I wish I had met Chris Marshall at the beginning of the process with House #1 instead of in the middle of the process with House #2 because he was by far the most professional and responsive of any of the nearly two dozen contractors I probably interviewed in some shape or form over 2 years. His quotes were timely and the most detailed, and when I did the math it was actually cheaper to use Chris than to use contractors with much lower quotes because I invariably had to go back and rehire someone new to fix problems left by the cheap guy. The North Star's workmanship can't be better, the crews were professional and tidy, and the prices were actually right in the middle where they ought to be. (I was trying to go super cheap at first). I think the before/after pics for House #2 speak for themselves. I'm hoping to pull equity from this home to purchase House #3 in 2019 and I'm already envisioning using Chris for that project too. Professional, reliable, trustworthy, very knowledgeable, good value for the money. I'm sorry I didn't meet him sooner."

"We were restoring a rental property after a tenant move-out and contacted Unbelievable American Restoration Services for air duct cleaning and tobacco odor removal.  This was our first time using this company and we were very impressed.  Their service was very professional, timely, and a great value for the services rendered.  They arrived on time, advised us on what services they were going to perform, and explained the process.  They were very efficient, very knowledgeable, and did an awesome job!  The customer service was great and they do aim to please!  We do value a professional service and have definite plans to use Unbelievable American Restoration Services in the future, and highly recommend them to others seeking home restoration services.

"I dealt directly with Mr. Kurt Randall. What a class act. He and his call center/staff are just amazing people and understand the definition of GOOD customer service and complimented that with solid work. He expedited the whole process which helped reduce the stress from an already very stressful environment. Very professional, informative, and prices were fair but I didn't feel ripped of given the urgency and the excellent service and work delivered."

"We had a fire at our townhouse a month ago, and the fire department hosed down all three levels with water. Unfortunately, the insurance company requested that we stay out of the house for 5 days until after they completed their investigation. By that point, the carpet and drywall were no longer salvageable.
Steve from KJS came out and gave us an estimate well under 24 hours of when I called him, and they began removal of all the wet materials the morning after I gave the "go-ahead" notice. Steve has had excellent communication throughout the process, from the first discussion to the final invoice. The quality of the work appeared to be excellent and exactly in line with what we had agreed upon. KJS was also an excellent value for the work being performed, coming in almost 40% lower than some of the other estimates we had received for similar work. I highly recommend them, and in the unfortunate circumstance where we'd ever need their help again, I would reach out to Steve at KJS without hesitation.
