"I contacted the provider about my half moon window that gets the intense west setting sun. Inside the house is the vaulted room that is very hot because of the sun in the later part of the day, also requiring you to wear sunglasses or risk falling in the house because of being blinded from the sun! They were very friendly over the phone and answered all my questions. They came out to measure, and within a week I had my solar screen. Its amazing how much better that room is, cooler, and non-blinding. And the screen even comes with a lifetime warranty!

"Contacted Allstar a week before installation to get an estimate. Spoke with Liz that morning. She promised to get me an estimate by 2 pm that afternoon. Chris and Liz came by house to measure and provided me an estimate as promised before 2 pm. Agreed for Allstar to do the work on Saturday and screens were made and installed by the following Wednesday. This husband/wife team were very professional, prompt, and courteous. Price was reasonable after doing some price comparison . The installer Brian also had excellent customer service skills. Will be calling them back to complete the back windows of my home. "The owner of the business answered the telephone each time I called, and he appeared on-site on two (2) occasions, for the initial inspection and the final repair. He was extremely professional and respectful, and his (and his workers) skill level was very high. He knew exactly how to repair the damage caused by a prior, less competent, service company, and he explained what he was doing each step of the way. In addition to the repair, he made sure to inspect the entire venting system and made minor upgrades, at no expense, to insure that the vent would be safe in the future. It is important to note, that Aleman Home Services was referred to me by another service provider to fix their mistake. In other words, this is the company the other companies call when they mess something up. Upon finishing the work the company cleaned the entire work site and provided me with a detailed receipt. After speaking with the owner I was pleased to learn they do a wide variety of general handyman work, and I intend to use them in the future. You should too."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
