"Meeting project manager Aaron from Home Masters until the job was done has been nothing but pleasant. Aaron sent a project proposal for painting the exterior of our house as well as fence and gate repair and replacement with a line item of exactly what they would do along with the cost which was significant but reasonable. We went over the contract together and he answered all my questions. This way there would be no communication problems later. The painters were amazing! Very polite,(didn't smoke or waste time), very careful to protect our landscaping. Did a thorough job and made sure I was pleased. Can't say enough good things about them and the work they did. Our house looks great. The crew that did the fence work were also amazing. Unfortunately the day they needed to work the weather was chilly and wet, but they kept on working until they finished. They made the design of the new fence portion look just like the original. It's a great job. We couldn't be more pleased."

"Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to protect the back of our house from foundation problems from a large oak tree.  They also added catch basins to existing drainage pipes as well as replacing some piping where needed.  Rob spent a generous amount of time taking a good look at our property, assessing what would work best and answering all of my questions. I was very pleased with the work done and with the people he has on his crew.

"Mark Gonzalez did a wonderful job on our daughter’s house. We called him and he came out and gave us a quote. Scheduling was an issue and we chose to wait for him to be available. We are glad we did. He did what he agreed to do and then some. An example is in order. The task was to repair sheetrock in several areas throughout the house. Those areas were enumerated and discussed. During the course of the job, he saw other areas that needed repair and fixed those too. He did not make a big deal of it. He just did it. He is also an artist. For example, we were supposed to provide the paint. He requested that he be allowed to get the paint which was great for us. He took samples and went to Sherwin Williams. When he got back with the matched paint, he was not satisfied (looked good to us). He took the paint back and had it redone. To us, it looked good the first time and perfect the second time. His rates are extremely reasonable and does a superb job. Scheduling may be an issue so we suggest to allow sufficient time for him to get to your project. You will be really glad you did."

"I received three quotes - while LSSS's quote was not the lowest, I was most impressed with their samples, knowledge and impressions during their quote.  I asked if they would price match the lowest, and they not only pm'ed but beat the other quote.  They also were very accommodating in installing a few weeks out from the order, as I had window cleaners coming later and did not want the solar screens installed prior to the cleaning.  The solar screens with gridwork look great from the outside and happened to be installed the day our downstairs A/C quit - they made a huge difference in keeping heat out and keeping the downstairs livable the two weeks we didn't have A/C.  Will definitely consider them again for our skylights.
We agonized a while over 80 vs 90% screens - we wanted natural light to still filter through but our downstairs living area gets a lot of afternoon sun unshaded, and gets very hot with multiple people around.  We got a bunch of different opinions, and while most said that 90% becomes way too dark, we ended up getting 90 and are very satisfied with the amount of light that comes through as well as how much we can see out of.  If you are undecided between 80 vs 90, I would probably go 90 if heat prevention is your primary concern.

The whole process was smooth and easy. Steven told me everything that needed to be done. He told me that he would provide everything upfront until the job was done and I was satisfied. "DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

I recommended them to my sister in Woodland for some remodeling work and designing, and the last time I visited her I was surprised at how nice the renovation was in her house.
