"Sta-Built Construction can do it all! We wanted to make our back yard more livable with a solid foundation for a hot tub and gazebo. We were hoping to make better use of wasted space below our dining room window where nothing but weeds grew well. Brian was the estimator who sketched out a design that not only created a lovely outdoor space, but also incorporated the existing foundation wall into a new retaining wall. The plan also included a paver patio, seat wall, fire pit, and lights. The crew was friendly, polite and hardworking, even in the midst of a record breaking heat wave. They demolished the old concrete patio, built a landing from the existing steps, and moved sprinkler lines. They paid attention to details, taking frequent measurements to ensure accuracy of the construction. Ben was the project manager, checking often on the crewâ s progress and occasionally offering a helping hand where needed. He was very approachable and quick to respond to our questions. Sta-Built is a professionally run company with creative minds and skilled workers. We were kept apprised of the scheduling date through the Sta-Built App, which we found helpful for tracking the project stages and making payments. The bid for the amount of the work done was competitive with other companies. We trusted Sta-Built to do the job right, and they came through with flying colors. We love our new outdoor space and wouldnâ t hesitate to hire them again for a future project."

"This is the second big job I've had this company do for me - and I would absolutely hire them again. (They put in a huge paver patio for me last year.) Here's why: You know how there are always things that go wrong on a job? I've hired companies that don't take responsibility for anything once they are "done" with a given job. But Cascadia Outdoor Living Spaces stands behind their work with an honorable commitment to customer satisfaction and quality. They came back a couple of times after the job end date to fix up parts of the fences that weren't quite up to my pretty high standards - with no complaints and a great attitude. If anything goes wrong in the future, either with my patio or my fence, I have no doubt that they would come back to make it right. I should also note that Steve Higa proactively beat out another estimate I had gotten for the new fence, so I had to admire that initiative and drive to get this particular contract! So I would say: Definitely get other bids for comparison, and ask Steve to see if he can do the work for the price you want to pay."

"We remodeled our kitchen a couple of years ago and bought our appliances from Frederick's. Everything was great except our LG refrigerator that kept dying, and each time it took 4-8 weeks to get it back up and running. Finally, LG wouldn't even send out a technician without us paying them up-front. We contacted Frederick's to intervene and they were able to get their LG rep to send out a technician. But after so many cycles of being without a refrigerator, we asked for a replacement instead of more band-aid repairs that only lasted a few months. LG did not want to do this, so Frederick's again stepped in and helped us get a new refrigerator. It took some persistence and patience on our part, but in the end Frederick's did the right thing and stood by their customer. This is why you buy from Frederick's instead of Home Depot."

"We had McLendon Home Services do the install (which the subcontracted to Emerald City Energy) and all went well. Water damage was found while removing our old windows which they notified me of, and gave some advice on how to handle the resolution of the problem. They were very professional, and I'd absolutely go with them again."

"My husband and I thought long and hard over taking to leap in doing some fun landscaping for our backyard. This included removing some large tres, building a raise stone patio, installing a louvred gazebo over a new hot tub and fencing. All to blend with an existing very large backyard area. We were afraid it would/could turn into more chaos than we were ready for. At the time we made up our minds to pursue bids from area contractors, a Rep with Alderwood Landscaping happened to stop by our house with information about the company. We thought the company would be beyond our budget after looking at examples of their work, but instead we were pleased to discover that Alderwood worked with us to design something within our budget. It was amazing to us how Alderwood Landscaping's employees and sub-contractors worked with much regard for our neighbors feelings throughout the noisy construction phase. Work was completed in record time with a creww that was extremely considerate. For over a year now we have enjoyed our remodeled backyard, and while enjoying our hot tub (which is nearly every day) in the evening with our yard lights focusing on the details of their work, my husband and I comment every time on what a fantsastic job Alderwood did for us. We are thrilled with the results and would sek them out for ANY landscaping project. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Bremerton, WA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
