"I called A1 when the company that normally services our HVAC system couldn’t get to our home for several days. A1 told me they could have a technician at our home later the same day. Not only did they get a tech to our home that day, he was there 2 hours prior to the estimated time frame. I cannot praise Gered Stovall, the tech that worked on our unit, enough. He quickly diagnosed that the unit was low on refrigerant and replaced it to get the a/c working, but he then worked to find out why the unit was low on refrigerant and while it was a fairly costly repair that couldn’t be completed the same day, Gered and the staff at A1 worked diligently to come up with an economical and viable solution. Gered was, professional, communicative, prompt and incredibly knowledgeable when it came to servicing our a/c and I would recommend him and A1 to anyone!"

Lind's Plumbing & Heating has been a family owned and operated business since getting its start in 1984; evolving over the years from a small plumbing and heating company serving mostly residential projects, to a distinguished full-service plumbing and heating contractor in the Northern Colorado region. In 2006, Master Plumber Jeff Makepeace — employed by the company's founder, Robert Lind — purchased the company, and has worked tirelessly to develop long-term relationships with our customers all along the Front Range. Through these efforts, Jeff has brought the company to new heights by transforming Lind's Plumbing into a commercial plumbing and heating success while continuing to strengthen our residential and service departments. Despite its growth, the company has managed to maintain the personable feel of a small family-owned business while working competently with large and small general contractors, including local small-business owners and homeowners.

"Zach is my goto person for any HVAC issues at all of my investment properties. In the past 8-months he installed a new furnace and AC at one house and replaced the AC at another. All work done quickly and professionally. He will even assist with warranty issues. This is a professional that I can trust. It's not easy finding this kind of help these days. He has my highest recommendation. His prices are fair and very competitive."

"This company sent out a tech to our home. He took a look at the water heater and saw the pilot light was out. He did not do any troubleshooting whatsoever, only proceeded to say we needed a new water heater. He gave us a quote which included many warranties we did not want so we declined the quote and only paid for the service call. I asked the tech if he could at least light the pilot for us he said he could not for safety reasons. We had another company install which did not do any troubleshooting either. Turns out the gas meter outside was clogged and that is why our old heater was not working. They should have did some troubleshooting but did not do so to make an obscene amount of money. We were screwed by both companies. Our utility company changed out the gas meter and started our new water heater. Companies need to do troubleshooting and actually care about people and not just about making a quick buck."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Briggsdale, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
