"Alfonso called, diagnosed our problem (broken pipe behind the sink), came the following day and repaired the broken pipe. He had to cut out the wall behind the sink, but he repaired it perfectly. He was masked, cleaned up perfectly and fixed our problem. I could ask for no more and will use him again for any of my plumbing needs!"

"basically i thought the service and the guy who did it was great. he was punctual, he was straight forward, he was personable and he explained everything in detail so that i knew what to expect.  <br /> my problem is that basically all he had to do was replace 2 parts in the faucet that ( in itself) only cost about 20-30 dollars each and it only took like a half hour TOTAL to do the consultation and replace the parts. I just think that they just overcharge on the labor for the service, along with the fact that we had to pay $50 for just a consultation. I completely understand the consultation charge because they took the time to be responsive, and punctual and to come to the house. But why we have to pay almost 200 bucks for labor for a simple part replacement makes it hard for us to want to use their services again . if it was a more complicated replacement, i completely understand but it was literally unscrewing two parts and replacing a stem in the faucet.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Dan and Dan were amazing! They took the job right before Thanksgiving. We were having family come into town and needed both my shower plumbing and change my kitchen sink and faucet, along with the plumbing. They were professional, efficient, and explained everything every step of the way. We plan on hiring them again in the very near future to help remodel our basement. Thank you so much for your prompt response and a job well done! "

"We could not recommend a more professional, reasonably priced, knowledgeable... and so many other qualities that make the perfect plumbing professional than master plumber Richard Lakatos. Mr. Lakatos worked on our gas line inspection last year and we were so satisfied with his work that we called on him again to help repair a broken sewer pipe in our basement trap that could have been very costly if he weren&#39;t such an honest man. We appreciate so much finding someone so rare in character and who provides consistent excellent service no matter what the job entails. We would highly recommend him and will not accept anyone else but him from now on for our plumbing needs as we feel he is the best when there are so many who are the opposite out there."

"I am a homeowner that is a bit handy around the house. I have fixed leaky and replaced faucets, painting, roof repairs, etc. But when it comes to a broken boiler, I want to go to a professional. And Mario the Plumber is certainly a professional who does quality work. I am extremely pleased with his professionalism, his quality of work and his knowledge. He was able to quickly fix my boiler and get it running again and also fixed a few lingering problems. He was extremely helpful in answering all and any questions I had. I was a bit worried about having a non working boiler while the heating season is still on but I came away feeling that Mario has done the best job possible and without feeling like I broke the bank. I donâ t recommend service provider easily to my friends and family but Mario is definitely someone who I can recommend in the future."

Customers say: Quick response

"I hired Cami Inc. to work on several plumbing issues in my apartment including reattaching my kitchen faucet, repairing a damaged drain assembly and reattaching the water line to my refrigerator’s ice maker. I also had Endri take a look at my bathroom, which had its own drainage issues, and he cleaned out a clogged pipe there. From the very first communication to the job’s completion, I found Endri to be a true professional. He provided answers to the problems and explanationed the solutions employed. He was as on time, easy to communicate with, and his pricing was reasonable. Best of all, he stands by his work. I’ll definitely be keeping Cami Inc. in mind for future plumbing and other maintenance/home improvement projects."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Brooklyn, NY

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
