Customers say: Quick response

"I had a fireplace surround done, The mortar color had what appeared to be 3 different shades of grey color. One stone had to be replaced due to mismatch and the mortar color of patch work looked terrible and sloppy. Mortar splattered all over my patio and house siding during the construction project!"

"Mike and his crew were absolutely professional in constructing our deck.. He took the design I had seen on a website that was a great fit for our space and adapted it perfectly!  We actually ended up with a larger (or so it seemed) deck than we were expecting.  The workmanship was top quality as evidenced by my extremely picky carpenter son who saw Mike's work and  had no negative comments at all.  The cedar is of top grade and all the surrounding landscape was left intact and clean when they finished.  We can highly recommend choosing Mike Rosian for your deck project. <br>"

"We had several groundcover plants removed, mulch beds cleaned up, and mulch laid for our extensive and neglected plant beds (we recently bought a house). Salinas was very responsive and easy to work with - they completed the job sooner than anticipated and spent nearly two days and laid almost two full truckloads of mulch over our property. They did an excellent job of cleaning up our beds prior to laying the mulch down."

"Northwest Metalcraft was quick, convenient, and professional. They were promptly on time, converted our fireplace quickly, cleaned it up and brought in a new grate. We were impressed at the speed and quality of service. I called on Monday, and they were out at our house on Thursday in the midst of the holidays. Great service."

"We had a 750 sq foot elevated deck built by Joel and the building team led by Matt. Joel was fantastic to work with from his first visit, design proposal and quote. The building team led by Matt did extremely high quality work and were great to design with as the project progressed. They were very neat and hard working. We were delighted with the overall experience, result and value for money. We would definitely work with them again and highly recommend them."

"Although crew generally tried to clean up on a daily basis, there were some cleanliness issues, namely, inadequate protection from concrete dust (e.g. no plastic sheeting to protect stored possessions) and carpenters wearing same muddy footwear as had been worn working outside on decks at other jobs.   Duration of job was much longer than expected due to crew working on other, outdoor, jobs intermittently. On the positive side, several additional services involving electric and carpentry were performed as requested after work began."

"Kevin and his dad did a great job of planting 5 Yews for me and laying down new mulch. Kevin was very quick to reply to my phone calls super courteous and very easy to work with. I live in an HOA community and took this project on myself at my own cost. I discussed all this with Kevin and I feel he gave me more than a fair price for the work that he did. I would definitely hire him again. Thanks Patty"

"Successfully completed. Homeowners completed demo and removal of existing wood deck. The new deck is the same configuration as the old, except to add a pergola over an outdoor kitchen. Archadeck added outdoor electrical receptacles, a natural gas line, a ceiling fan, and step lighting on four sets of stairs. The outdoor kitchen will be completed later by homeowners."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Burlington, IL

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
