"Called Eric, he called back within a couple of hours. Came over to my house that evening with a new hot water heater per my requested specs.. Got it installed in about 2 hours. He also rerouted my gas pipes to the new hot water heater to meet code. He also explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. I will call Gans Plumbing for any future plumbing needs."

"My transmission failed and I took it to a dealer (first mistake) which <br /> wanted to charge me almost $5000 to have it repaired. Found SDR on <br /> Angie's list and figured I would give it a shot.... They towed my truck <br /> from the dealer to their shop within an hour about having it inspected <br /> by the dealer, repaired within 3 days and had it ready to go so that I <br /> could travel out of town the following weekend. My truck hasn't had any <br /> problems, has a warranty on the transmission, the people were helpful, <br /> straight forward, respectful and willing to help quickly. Also charged <br /> me a fair price - very happy with the service and the company. I would <br /> recommend SDR to my friends and family for future repairs! <br />"

"When I took my car to Faith Automotive, they helped me out a LOT. They checked my car for me and gave me a list of the things that were okay, the things that were worn out but could still wait, and the things that needed to be done right away. They gave me estimates for what needed to be done and when I told them to go ahead, I was very surprised that the actual bill was LESS than the estimate. They explained that their policy is to bill out actual labor so I'm only paying for time they actually invested into my car and if they finish the job faster than quoted, then they bill it out accordingly so I'm not paying for time they didn't have invested. <br /> I completely trust Faith Automotive and their employees with all of my vehicles and I refer everyone to them. They take care of their customers which is a rare thing these days. They perform honest, quality work which is so refreshing to find in a mechanic nowadays. <br />"

"Follow up was awful. I called for a problem and got no response. This includes many, many texts, phone calls and a visit to his home and talked with his wife. Another provider even talked to him and told him to contact me. He still would not. My boiler was under warranty as well. It was absolutely disheartening. I gave him every chance to make it right. He never did. Other providers have said that people have complained that he does not get back to clients. I was so pleased with the work he did originally and I recommended him to several people. After this experience I can't in good faith recommend him. I am being kind here with no reason to be. If you need service in northern wisconsin then use someone else. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Burnett, WI

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
