"We spoke with Gary Bender on the phone, and he was able to provide us with an appropriate quote for our home and needs.  He was very knowledgeable about alarm systems, and more than adequately answered our questions and addressed our concerns.  We called on a Thursday and asked to have the new system installed that Saturday.  There was no problem in getting the appointment on such short notice.

"Equipment for this wireless alarm system sent via Federal Express. Technician called to walk me through installation which was much easier than anticipated. Everything went very well and have had no issues with the system since installation. Equipment was free. There is, of course, a monthly monitoring fee."

"Initial service was sold and installed the same day.
We had problems from the start with false alarms that finally resulted in contact with the monitoring company. That didn't go well as we didn't know our assigned code word. Repeated calls to several contact numbers over the next few days resulted in no help.
I had the feeling that the salesman was new on the job as there were a couple of critical steps that were missed that caused us concern. For example, we were told that the company would call and we would establish a security code word. That never happened and on our first contact with the alarm company, they had a security word, but we did not. I can only assume that someone with CRS filled that in without our input as to what the word should be.
The installation person was very good and did a professional job.
About a week into our working with this company they offered to install a door lock for us. It worked fine, but a couple days later, I noticed that the bolt plate had not been secured, so I got a couple of screws and finished the installation job. Needless to say, I wouldn't rate this technician as high as I would the first.
We have since had one call back to correct a faulty sensor and that went very well.
The company knew that I was upset with their service and was having problems, yet no one bothered to call me to find out what the problem was and how it could be fixed. That isn't the way a quality company works.

An Update: CRS called me to discuss the rating above. I feel much better about them as a company as I felt the caller was sincerely attempting to determine the issues that caused my distress with their service. I will not change my ratings as they fit my first experience with this company."
