"The work crew was able to rip out old flooring, and install the new wood flooring in one days work. The job was well done . They moved furniture ripped out flour types of flooring including ceramic tile, hauled away old materials, and then installed wood flooring. The cost came in much lower than another floor installer, and the quality of the installation and the wood flooring are great. The only downside was that they did not carry a type of room transition divider piece that was needed for two transition ways into the kitchen area, and so I had to use the old pieces and change their stain. Not a big deal, but disappointing and extra work I did not anticipate."

"Dominick and his helper, Nicolaus, did a lot: Shaved down 17 doors so they can close properly and stay closed. Caulking - removed old caulking around bathtub and re-caulked, Fire Alarms - installed 6 Fire Alarms (on different floors), Weather Stripping for Entry Doors Upstairs & Downstairs, and I asked him if he could also install the Address sign on the outside for us & he even added painting a bathroom the same day. He was amazing. We are very happy with Dominick and would highly recommend him. We also had him come back another time to do another job (baseboard shoe molding). He did a beautiful job with the shoe molding too. He is reliable, trustworthly and hard working. Dominick takes pride in his work and wants to make sure his customers are happy. We will be asking Dominick to help us with any projects that come up. It's great to have someone you can rely on and who is nice to deal with."

"We hired Monk's to do painting and flooring work on the entire second floor at my mom's house. Kurt did a great job of prepping us for what to expect in terms of timelines and process. Our foreman Huibel did a wonderful job of keeping my mom informed on a daily basis of his progress. He and his crew did excellent, quality work and my mom was super happy with the finished product. Monk's has done a lot of work for us in the past in addition to the flooring and painting, including wainscotting, window and door install, as well as a new composite deck. We are hiring them again to paint the interior of the garage and to install some workbenches and shelving for storage. We can't wait for this work to be done as it's going to make a huge difference.
