They came on time as scheduled for both the quote (which was very fair for the work that needed done) and actual work start date. The work they did looks amazing, and they took care to make the new sections of mortar have the same style as the old sections on our beautiful Victorian. "This is the second time we've hired John. He's responsive, punctual and very easy to work with. He cleans the work area daily and his work is impeccable. Before installation of the brick, he had to remove a Corian backsplash. This was his first brick backsplash and we couldn't be happier. In terms of cost, I couldn't tell you if he's high, low or average because he's' the only person I called. Also, the first time we hired him, about 4 years ago, he installed a porcelain tile floor which garners compliments all the time."

"Wilmer arrived for a consultation and showed me all of his beautiful work, including stamped concrete. Money was an issue so I went with regular concrete. He explained what he would do and why he would do it a certain way. I had already gotten pointers from a co-worker who told me what to ask and what answers to expect, and Wilmer was right on point with his responses. He arrived on time as scheduled with his crew. They began working prior to me leaving for work. By early afternoon he sent me a text picture of the completed work. I paid him the first half of the money due and he came back the following morning to collect the remainder. It's been more than a year since I've had the patio installed and I love it."

I will say that trying to get them out was a bit of a pain. My father was helping to coordinate everything because of my work hours. It took them over a month to send us a quote. But once the quote was here, they were ready to come. They seem to be a bit disorganized behind the scenes: for example, I received a call from the woman who works at the office on the day the service was to be provided that they would be out. Later that day, my father received a call from one of the workers stating they couldn't do the work because I didn't have an outside water hookup. Ok, so I would reschedule. Later that week I got a call from the office asking if I liked the service they provided. I said they didn't provide a service because we got a call saying they couldn't. After a few phone calls back and forth, apparently, one of the workers asked my neighbor for a water hook up (love my neighbors) and they were able to finish the job, however no one ever called to say they were able to do it.

When I got home, I looked at the windows and sure enough, they did look different. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't look but they did the work. They said they would send out the invoice for the rest of the amount, and it waited for about 6 weeks. Finally, I called saying I never got it and if they could email it or fax it. They wanted to drive over to my house to pick up the payment at that moment. That would have been fine, but I was the one that alerted them to the fact that I hadn't paid yet. I work late hours and didn't want someone coming over late. I mailed it out that day. no worries.

the reason I gave such a high rating is because even with all that little annoying stuff, their work was fantastic. I had a leaking front window for years and it is now months later, I still have the drywall off the wall to monitor the water, and still nothing. no water. amazing! I asked for an estimate on doing my front step in the late summer but never heard back. seems they need a bit of nudging or maybe they are just really busy because they are so good. I would love to give them more business but I am too busy to be bothering people about giving me new quotes right now. maybe in the summer.
