Mike even took my tenantâ s schedule in mind when planning his time frame. While the dumpster was still on site, Mike let us dispose of construction waste we had gathered up from another project. The entire crew is courteous, trustworthy, professional and capable. I was a Designer at an architectural firm that did historic restoration. I have done many a punch list. "Rebuilt deck and added a roof over it...not only is it completely maintenance free, but it looks like it was actually a part of the house forever...amazing. Then inside the house all new waterproof vinyl flooring in first floor of the house, and pantry was gutted, a new wider door was installed, a ceiling light and switch was installed and a laundry center was installed with new shelving...all done including even painting and staining. Then the small repairs, new upstairs toilet, fixed garage outlet, added an outside backyard electrical outlet, fixed outside faucet, replaced two light fixtures. Owner was onsite and working every day. The owner, Brad, actually told me to tell him if I didnâ t like something. He said more than once to let him know if I wanted something different. All of the work done exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely hire him again for all future projects. THANK YOU. "Beautifully!!!!! They gutted the bathroom and started from scratch, even having to replace the plywood for the floor as it had rot spots from old water leaks and repairs. F.A.S.T. Contracting's workers (Mike and Steve) are very knowledgeable and efficient. Replacing the floor took a couple of days but they were still able to finish the job in the estimated time frame. I would highly recommend Matt and his crew for any job needing done around a house. *Please disregard the dates on the photos"

"Remo was great to work with. He was a great communicator and was efficient and respectful. Our house was built in the 1940 s and the floors and rooms are not even or level. He installed our floor practically perfectly in an imperfect room. He also re-bricked our stone fireplace and re-installed our mantel. The mantel didn t install as planned but Remo addressed my concerns and it came out better than expected. We plan on hiring him again in the future for other projects around our home."

"I called Paul, an owner of G & J Home Remodeling, to talk about replacing roofing materials and replacing part of a shed on the back of the house.  Paul stopped that day and looked at the condition of the roof.  He said the shingles on the steepest part of the roof would not leak and didn't need to be replaced for several years.  The materials on the flat roof needed replacing, as did the shingles on the garage roof.
He sent two proposals:  a smaller one for the flat roof, garage, and shed, and a larger one that added the rest of the roof.  We were pleased that he provided these two options.  I doubt many contractors would be so forthcoming.
Paul didn't expect to be able to start the work until spring 2014, but he was able to do the job earlier, in fall 2013 (starting in October).  After part of the shed was removed, we decided to have a storm door installed on the rear.  Paul made a recommendation about what brand to buy, where to buy it, and when the door arrived at the store, he picked it up and had it installed.  The door turned out have good features and was of excellent quality and reasonably priced.
We asked Paul about having rain gutters installed and he recommended a company to do that job.  It was a seamless gutter company highly recommended on Angie's List.
There were a few small issues to fix and Paul saw to it that they were promptly attended to.
The workers employed by G & J were reliable and performed their jobs well.  They left the site clean when the job was completed.  We were very impressed with G & J Home Remodeling.  When the time comes to replace shingles on the rest of the roof, we plan to call Paul at G & J.

"I am disappointed every time I walk into my new bathroom. The quality of the floor installation and wall tiles is a DIY level. I believe if Joe had overseen the project it would have been as great as in his own home, but he didn't. The mirror fell off the wall after a month and the grout left stains on my new tiles which are uneven on the floor. This is very disappointing. Damage was done to the shower pan and the shower handle isn't attached to wood so it moves when we turn the water on and off. The faucet handle is loose ...... this is not a dream bathroom like I wanted."
