"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Because it was a window casement, not having it repaired would have left the inside of the bedroom open to the weather outside. I needed to have the work done ASAP. It was 2pm and I looked up Angie’s list and I got Kyle. I took pictures of the job, damages whatever else Kyle advise me to do. He was at least 20 miles away peak traffic had started but he took the job. Did a superb job, and was so pleasant to work with. I didnt feel intimidated as I can when working with repair people, His calm demeanor and amazing communication and feedback as to what the job entails contributed to me feeling the price was right. "Rhema Electric Pacific was quick to respond and able to show up the next day for the repairs. I needed a bracket installed that supported the wiring entering the house from the external electric box. They also had to rewire the solar wiring in order to correct the issue. Also, the electrician explained how to properly install GFI switches, so I could do those myself! I was very happy with their service and would highly recommend!"

"Nainoa will be highly recommended to my network of people. The first thing I look for in any contractor/salesman that is coming to possibly work on my home. Can I rely and trust them for the next 20 years? Nainoa exemplifies that with thorough knowledge and being straightforward. Everyone wants a cheap deal and expects the best product. Yet, after the product is sold and installed you have a very hard time getting ahold of them. What I look for is a trustworthy person, reliability and the best product to go with that. Nainoa checked back with me a week after my cameras were installed to see how everything is running. He also said he would be doing annual check ups just to make sure everything is running smoothly. Cost of the product was very reasonable but what is very valuable to me is the professionalism, reliability and trust I received from Nainoa. You really get what you pay for."

"We had been debating installing solar for quite a while but had procrastinated until one day late in 2012 when I went into our local bank branch and found a Revolusun representative set up at a desk marketing solar power. I sat down and chatted with him, asking some of the questions that had arisen during our investigation of solar power. He was very knowledgable and helpful and I went away ready to investigate further. I was a careful i.e pain in the "a" customer with new concerns and/or questions every several days but the rep was patient, answered all my questions even if he had to do some digging to do so. We knew Revolusun was not the cheapest by a long shot but felt that the quality of their products plus their guarantee to see the work through to the end including the permitting by HECO was worth the cost.
This has proved out so far in terms of the professionalism and punctuality of their several crews who worked on our project, the results in terms of our solar production, and, of course, in our electric bills.
When other people ask us for our recommendations for solar work, we advise them to investigate and compare several companies, but definitely include Revolusun

"Sosso did an absolutely beautiful job installing the complicated ceramic and marble tiles in our master bathroom. He did the tiles in the shower, walls, and floors. He communicated well with us, worked very hard to do a perfect job (long days to get it done), and he was very easy to work with overall!!"

"The work itself was done very well. I have no complaints with the work itself. I also appreciate the effort it took for the owner, Clayton, to arrange a time to come to my condo to do the work. My schedule was hectic, and we worked out and changed times. He was very good at returning text messages, checking and rechecking his schedule, and more. Also the crew that came to work at my condo were polite and friendly (fun to talk with). However, Xtreme Services fell short of my expectations in a few ways. First, Clayton brought 4 crew members with him. Who needs 5 people to do such simple handyman tasks? He told me that he had a bigger job just after mine, so he brought the whole crew. Second, they arrived in a truck without a logo and parked in a handicap parking spot. (They did have a handicap tag, but I did not see anyone who was actually handicapped.) These two factors created a problem for me. The condo security was a little surprised to have 5 handymen arrive in a truck and park in a handicap zone although there was plenty of other parking in a close garage guest parking spot. Security apparently contacted the condo manager who checked us out to make sure there was no trouble. This made me look bad. Second, it cost me $420.00 for them to do these simple jobs in two hours. I expected to pay about $250 to $300 as they did come to my condo, which is fairly high end, so I expected to pay a little extra for the service, but certainly not as much as I was charged. Third, I asked for an invoice, and Clayton asked me, "Do you need it for taxes or something?" I said that I didn't and he simply looked at me waiting for me to tell him to forget it, which I stupidly did. I really did want an invoice to see why I was charged so much, as well as proof that Xtreme Services did the work if I had any problems later on. (I paid cash.) I actually blame myself for not pushing for the receipt/invoice. But, still, any good business is going to write up an invoice at the end of the work. If Xtreme Services wants to continue to grow and get jobs, they need to know this, especially when working with people in Honolulu condos. I can add that I didn't ask for an estimate, being trusting, and this was likely a part of the problem with how much I ended up paying. Enough said."
