They went and bought it and put it in. The installation went really well for me. The insurance company sends the plumbers, but if I had to pay myself I still would use them."

"Out of the three service providers on Angie's List that I called for this job, Steven was the only to reply and he replied immediately though he was on vacation. He provided a written, detailed estimate as promised. Appointment for roof repair was first and completed on day promised. Painting had to await the weather to break and was done within a week of request. All repairs were completed on time, on budget and executed perfectly. Steven was a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and courteous. Would absolutely recommend this vendor and use him again. Great experience!"

"Guys showed up as was told by Jimmy. I was worried about the integrity of my brick foundation being compromised being a hundred years old and having no footer. So salesman Andrew said guys will break up the concrete floor, lay tile, and concrete one wall at a time do it may take 3 days to complete job. I liked their drain tile the best out of the companies that came by and his answer to preserving my brick foundation. So I hired them I was a little shocked at the 40% down to get scheduled and started seeing how many bad contractors are out there ripping people off. But I paid the 40% and as advertised guys showed up 3.5 weeks later to do the job. Guys finished in one day which was surprising to me because salesman Andrew said 3 days to make sure brick foundation was cared for but that didn't happen. Guys cleaned up after themselves, when done collected payment and explained warranty info. Quality of work was good details could have been better or more crisp like the application of cleanspace to wall wallintegrityand lip board that will catch any water running down wall.I would hire again as long as my brick foundation maintains its integrity. And so far no water in basement. <br />"

"It was a rainy Monday, but the company arrived at our home at 8am and waited out the weather.  They walked around the house with my husband and me to note any landscaping that was particularly fragile. (roses, hostas, mums and lilies).  The supplies had already been delivered so the crew got to work.   I didn't know what to expect with noise and mess and although there was plenty of both, the crew was very professional and efficient in their  efforts.    It took about 10 hours from start to finish and with only one rotten board to be replaced.   This was the first roof replacement I have experienced and this company did it right!  The owner was on sight numerous times to ensure everything was going well.  He answered my countless questions and explained what would happen from beginning to end.   I was quite concerned that the crew would never be able to pick up the zillions of roofing pieces, nails, shingles, etc.  However, there was not a scrap of material or nail in sight after they were finished.  They even cleaned out the gutters and the garage!  I would highly recommend Seamless Restoration for a new roof or repair.  They are professional, courteous, efficient and neat.  Extra stars to the employees for stopping to meet our dog who had to inspect everything, snoop in their lunchboxes and insist on being petted. <br />"

"Went great. Dennis at Honorable Home Repairs was at my neighbors house replacing shingles. I went over and asked him if he had time to do the same at my house. He came over when he was finished and repaired my roof."

"Our house has been plagued by uneven floors since I purchased it in 1994. As part of a whole-house renovation, I brought in Steve Elbert with Capital Improvement Company to level the first floor, which is roughly 1300 square feet. From the highest to the lowest point, the floor fell four inches. I asked if I needed a building permit, and he said I probably would since he was doing structural repair. This was a refreshing departure from the contractor I hired to level the second floor a year earlier, who said no permit was necessary. (His work was horrendous, and the floor is still uneven.) <br /> Steve and his crew gave a fair estimate, and responded within a couple weeks once I signed the agreement. Because the unevenness was caused by poor support, it required shoring up in the crawl space. He also added a wall to provide necessary support to the second floor above. He spent almost two weeks meticulously measuring, leveling, adding support, and laying down new plywood and OSB. <br /> When he had finished, the entire floor was level within 3/8 of an inch. I'm amazed at his attention to detail. It's rare in my area to find a contractor who works as if he's working on his own home. Steve Elbert and Capital Improvement is exceptional. <br /> I was also impressed with how neat he kept the work area. Every day, it was swept and organized. He and his crew respected our property, and our home. You won't hear foul language or off-color humor from this company, which I greatly appreciated as well. <br /> In this entire 5-year renovation, no fewer than 30 contractors have come to our home to provide work or estimates. Of those, I would only invite eight of them back. Capital Improvement is one of them."

"Complete tear off of old roof and gutters on home. Replaced with new roof and 6" gutters and downspouts. Reworked gutters that were attached wonky and better placement of some downspouts.   Also replaced old gutters on detached garage and used 6" gutters to replace.   Eric was the most professional contractor we have worked with. He was very timely in responding to all our emails.  The crew was pleasant and very efficient. They were all mindful of plantings around the home, and Eric said if there were any plants damaged and didn't come back, he would replace them. (We don't think this will be the case!) We have other jobs to get done in the future and would definitely call Eric for a bid and would use him again! Thanks, Eric!            Oh Eric!! Sorry we forgot to submit this review (We thought the other one did it!) It does give me a chance to update and let you know that we have had downpours, snow, ice and heavy winds without any incident!  The larger gutters handled the runoff from our high pitched roof perfectly and they are easier to clean. ".The first conversation with John, the project manager, he told me the three things I needed to do as the homeowner. He asked my insurance company and gave me the 800 number to State Farm to file a claim. I got the name of the adjuster I would be working with.When I got the appointment to have adjuster come to my home, John met us at my home to be there to help me with the process. The very experienced adjuster was very impressed with John, the company and wrote me a check that night to get the work going. John kept me informed of everything. The delivery of supplies etc. It rained for 2 weeks after the supplies were delivered so the roof had to wait, but John called to let me know what to expect.One Saturday early in the morning a few days after the supplies were dropped off John came by because he had gone over the supplies sent and found that they (the supply company) had sent the wrong skylights. He brought over the correct ones and took back the incorrect ones. He also brought some tarp to cover some of the supplies. When the sun came out 10 days later he called to let me know the workers were going to be there on Monday. They were here and completed the job by Tuesday afternoon. John had told me it would take 2 days so when I came home after work on the first day I wasn't upset that they were not done. Two of my neighbors came to my houst to let me know how clean, professional and hardworking the people were. They landscape was protected during the roofing. The entire yard was cleaned up and a magnet roller was used to make sure every nail was picked up. John also came to my home during the project and after to make sure I was satisfied! <br /> John helped me pick out the roof color and the gutters. It may not seem like a big deal but it is when you are trying to blend new with what is already there. I guess I could go on and on but I hope I have pointed out the quality of the company Universal Builders of America. <br />"
