"    Braswell Construction  worked on our newly purchased house form October 2015 to January 2016. I am just getting around to writing review due to my work schedule. <br>    We contacted Braswell a few weeks after we closed on our house in mid-September. Geoff was very friendly and detailed oriented. Throughout the process, he gave us some good ideas as far as brand of appliance to use, quality of different fixtures etc.  We really like our toilets, garbage disposal, and kitchen faucet that he recommended....they are not run of the mill....much better quality than average without the overly expensive price. We had ordered our major appliances from Appliances Connection in the Northeast to be delivered by truck..(GREAT prices and service).  <br>     All of the sub contractors were polite. We did have some fairly significant problems with the installation of our floors done by Signature Flooring. Geoff stayed on them the whole process down to the very end of job to get it right as far as the floors adhesive.  Signature did come back about 7 times to put more glue down to fix problems...it is not at 100 percent yet, but it is much better than it used to be...Geoff would not release the money to them until we were satisfied( and to Signature's testament they kept at it to keep us satisfied...a big plus ). <br>We originally had a price quote form Geoff of about 35000, but due to us adding several things and dropping some others, it came to 38,000. We were very satisfied with the way Braswell handled many things on a plethora of levels. The barbed wire removal was particularly rough on the sub contractors.   <br>    Geoff worked with us in getting all the door locks re-keyed the day before final payment. There were many small tweaks that Braswell consistently came through on in a timely and accommodating manner....i.e...changing the way a door opened, type of hardware on cabinets, light placement, painting...all the while being mindful of our pets when we could not be there. <br>Our kitchen is gorgeous......very open concept...very updated with floating shelves, solid wood cabinetry, subway tile etc. The lighting arrangement that the electrical sub contractors suggested works awesome. We did have fairly good ideas of how we wanted the kitchen to look and they enhanced our ideas even more. Geoff and the team were very good in accommodating our changing wishes as project progressed and really helped us make some tough decisions....as well as adhering to getting major steps of the project done around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. <br>We will use Braswell in the future without a doubt. In the next year, we plan on replacing the roof on our cabin in North Georgia as well as gutting our master bath...among other projects.. Braswell will be at the top of the list for possible general contractors. <br> <br>"

"The brick molding on our house that was rotting. We had hired another company a few years back to take care of the problem but now everything was worse than before. We were looking for a company that would take care of the problem for good and stand behind their work. We called several companies to come out and give us advise and estimates. Some never returned our calls, some came and said they would send us estimates which we never got, or they would just not show up at all. Finally while taking to a neighbor I got the name and number for this company, Georgia Construction Consultants, with high recommendations. I called and they promptly set up a meeting with their project supervisor. <br />  We were greatly surprised when the project supervisor showed up on the date and time we had agreed on. (Many of the others did not !) He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. He was patient and answered all our questions. So far, so good. Now we wanted to see if we would get the quote that we were promised in a timely manner. Well we did. Now we were more impressed. We had a few questions about the quote. No problem all questions were answered cheerfully. Each and every time we had an appointment set up, the project supervisor was on time or called to let us know if he would be a little late. We truely felt this was the company for us. <br />  We set a start date. On the date we choose the window crew came out to replace a picture window with two side windows and a circle head. All went great. The crew was on time, very curtious, and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Then the crew for the brick mold replacement came in and finished. Great job!! The painters came in next. They were awesome. They were very professional and good at their job. If they found a problem they would let us know or tell the project supervisor. Then we would discuss what to do. The project supervisor met with each crew before starting to be sure they knew what to do and he showed up everyday to see how things were progressing. Due to rain the painting had to be postponed a few days which pushed the painting into a week where we were out of town hiking for 3 days. We felt confident enough that we told them to continue on with the job. We are bout 6000 feet up on the side of a mountain when my cell phone beeps. I had a message to call the project supervisor when ever I could. Fortunately we walked a few more feet and I got service. (It was the only spot on the trip that we got service once we started climbing!!) I called and painting had been stopped because the supervisor had remembered me saying I wanted the trim and new gutters to match. It did not. We discussed what to do and he took care of it. When we got home everything looked awesome!! Then as they finished up the painters decided my deck rails needed painting so everything would look new. They threw that in for free! They also gave us a break on the extra paint and time where I had messed up the trim color choice. We are VERY satisfied with everything and will be using them again for our future projects.
