"Dave and AJ from Freedom Contracting & Excavating did a great job for a reasonable price. I had an idea for an outdoor griddle setup using natural gas instead of propane tanks. I thought it was a long shot but they were able to make it happen. Very courteous and straight forward. They even went above and beyond by helping me with the natural gas conversion on my griddle. I would definitely hire them again and if you need any gas line work done, call Freedom C & E for sure! Thanks again!"

"Tim Calfo is a liar, a crook and does not deserve the privilege to own a business that serves the community. Do your homework before you hire this company. LONG story short, I purchased a new boiler system. I was promised the new system would work in the same manner as the old one, meaning my home was zoned for different areas with different thermostats (through circulator pumps). The technicians that completed the installation never took the time to learn how my home was setup and did not complete the zoning for the new system at the time of install. Instead of admitting their mistake, I was lied to multiple times and told my previous system was never zoned. (Which is a lie and verified by a 3rd party who has worked in this home prior to me buying it). Now, they want to charge more money to fix it because and zoning was not part of the original contract . This bait and switch type tactic seems to be a common theme for Calfo based on other reviews, they do this pretty often."

I needed my basement renovated ASAP and Mr. Anthony met with me in a timely manner explaining in great detail the work he would perform and how pleased I would be! Let me tell you he did NOT disappoint because he and his partner Mark performed what I call a â  miracleâ  in renovating my basement and went above and beyond my expectations!!!! When it came time to do the demo in October, he and his crew were both friendly and professional, and cleaned up after themselves.
