"They ( Bob Johnson and Kevin Holley) were punctual, neat and got it all done in 2 1/2 days. Initially they were going to clean out the line, reline it and place a cleanout. But once they ran their camera down, they determined that was not possilbe due to the sharp angles with the original pipe in order to connect with the county sewer line. Very willing to answer all questions. They gave us the price up front, so no surprises. They worked long days, digging the 18 foot deep trench, laying new line and backfilling everything. They were careful with our front yard plants/trees, asking if any could be sacrificed to get the line placed. The ones important to me were unharmed. They were very careful to regrade the yard, explaining there would be settling over the next 6-9 months, and that we would probably need to fill some areas again and advised not to sod or install sprinklers for a least a year because of the settling that would occur. If we ever need a plumber, we would definitly call them again. I just hope we don't need to."

"I had a leak above my kitchen which I suspected may have been from my A/C unit that occupies the space above my kitchen ceiling. I called Moncrief to have someone come out and look at my A/C. They were able to send out someone the next day I'd be available to be at home. The technician, Barry, was on time and was very friendly. He was able to determine that the leak was not coming from any part of my A/C unit, but was from another pipe in the same area. He also made some adjustments to the shoddily installed piping connected to my A/C unit and replaced a pipe that needed to be replaced. I was very pleased with the work done and am considering signing up for their service contract. If I encounter any problems with my A/C unit, Moncrief will be my first call."

"Back in August, my 3 rental homes all had to be re-piped, with new water heaters put in and 320' of gas lines dug across the property. It was a major overhaul project and required a crew with solid plumbing, gas and electrical experience to manage it all simultaneously. It was expensive, but the work needed to be done and because there were multiple tenants involved, the units all had to be back up and running quickly and correctly. I would have given the company 5 stars for this job except I discovered that 6 weeks ago the previous crew failed to ensure that the gas furnaces in all 3 houses were also hooked up and working properly. After I spent the past 5 nights freezing in 30 degree weather, Robert arrived today knowing that I was pretty upset over learning about this oversight in November. Yet he remained very calm and professional throughout the process as he resolved the issues with each unit and ultimately redeemed the company's reputation in my mind. I also learned that Robert was a new hire but he had years of experience under his belt with the perfect disposition for this type of work.
