"FloorTechs refinished oak, hard wood floors for two rooms and the stairs to match existing flooring. They did so beautifully for a very reasonable price! I scheduled them to return the following week to install kitchen flooring. They went to Home Depot to pick up materials I had ordered only to discover they had ordered the wrong materials! In spite of the error and a wasted day, FloorTechs was gracious and helpful as I restarted the flooring search. Randy gave me advice and even told me things I didn t want to hear so thatI was prepared for what I was going to face. I appreciated his honesty and forthright communication. "We had a particularly difficult job as the floors were very old and peeling, with additional damage from dogs.  All the flooring in the kitchen and living room had to be torn up and replaced.  There was some difficulty in ordering materials which we believe was due to the vendor not the owner of the floor company, but the owners were able to provide substitute wood which we ended up liking more than the original choice.  The crew of three were all cheerful workers who spent four days ripping out the wood and carefully replacing the new wood.
While the owners (Javier and Marielis) did not come and look at the progress of the job while it was going on, we felt they had enough confidence in their workers that they probably did not need to come over.   And indeed the foreman of the crew was scrupulous about taking care of details which we mentioned as the work was being done.  Several minor difficulties came up due to the age of the original floor but the crew took care of them.
We were very pleased at the final look of our house which now looks refreshed and up to date.  We would recommend Madera to anyone seeking a quality job completed in a reasonable time frame.

"Everything went really well. The only complaint we had was with the communication about the finishing of the projects. From the very beginning we told Larry that we had a certain time period we needed the work to be done because we would be out of town for quiet  away after the deadline. I think as a testament to how good the business is, he had a lot of projects going on and some unforeseen things came up at other sites which meant we had our delayed a few times. Larry did stay extra late the last day to make sure the project was done on time and we really appreciated that.
A few things about how the process was and the end result. First, the re-finishing was done VERY well and a huge bonus was that his workers did an amazing job at minimizing the dust. We were really amazed at how little dust there was, we were prepared by friends and family who had re-finishing done for a mini dessert of dust. The newly installed wood flooring in the family room turned out really good as well. He did such a fantastic job of matching the colors of the new wood and the re-finished wood. They removed the old carpet with no problem as well.
I would recommend Larry to anyone, the prices are typically the lowest from my experience and from other reviews I've read and the end product is amazing! Thanks Larry
