"Roger and his crew really went above and beyond. Our guest shower had a leak that was caused by worn-away grout and cracked tiles; we decided to redo the shower entirely so we could fix any damaged wall behind it. Roger was the third person we contacted, and he answered our questions promptly (the only one to get back to us right away), and gave us the best estimate. While he was looking at our shower, we pointed out how it had leaked down into our laundry closet on the first floor, through a hole a previous contractor had left in the ceiling in there. Roger offered to fix the hole, and retile the floor in there since it was so old and the vinyl sheeting was peeling away - you could look at the floor and see the basement. He even let us use some extra tile he had from a previous project since it was such a small area. Roger was very flexible with the Covid-19 pandemic; he allowed us to temporarily cancel when the stay-at-home order first happened, but we realized we would need that shower back and it was currently unusable. He rescheduled us easily, and he and his crew did their best to maintain 6 ft from us and wear masks in our house. The work was done in 2 days and looks great. He's a friendly guy and will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with his work."

"We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List. "We were in a bind and needed a previously installed granite countertop in the kitchen modified. We had a new refrigerator, and the door wouldn't open all the way back, bumping against the door jam. We needed to have the granite cut back about an inch to remedy the problem ( slide the refrigerator over a little). The problem was, we were having a new tile backsplash installed the following day, and needed the granite cut before starting that job. I called Granite Vision, and asked them if they could perform it the same day. They were unsure if they could fit it in the same day, but told me they would check on the possibility.  I was called back in a timely manner, and told that they could do it for me.  David arrived within a few hours of my call, and did a beautiful job.  He was very nice, neat, and did exactly what we needed. "TLG, a family-owned company headed by Todd Gilbert, recently
completed our sixty-four year-old bathroom demolition and renovation. After
getting several estimates, we chose TLG from Angie?s List. TLG gave the most reasonable
estimate. They were familiar with and had no hesitation installing some of the
less typical items I had chosen. Instead of the 2 - 3 weeks the other
contractors had estimated, TLG said it would take 6 ? 7 days.
Once we had an agreement, Todd went over the project in
detail and agreed to order all the fixtures I had chosen (from showrooms, the internet,
and magazines). His company uses its own workmen, electrician, plumber, tile man,
etc.  Every workman was carefully
scheduled. They arrived on time each day and worked full days. They finished on
day 7 at noon, right within the estimated time.
The demolition work was done carefully and cleanly. All
debris was removed from our property, and pipes, framing and the foundation was
prepared for tiles on all four walls. Dedicated electrical lines were run to
the bathroom. Finally the tiles and fixtures were installed and connected.
Todd and his workmen were professional throughout, answering
every question I had. The bathroom turned out beautifully and stayed within the
estimated cost. The results exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend TLG
