"When installing a new refrigerator, the knob to turn the water off fell off in the service man’s hand and water was going everywhere. We had to turn the water off to the whole house. In a panic I found Home Advisor and after inputting my info, Amy from Mr. Rooter called within five minutes. After looking at her schedule, she said a tech would show up in 30-60 minutes. Don’t remember the time exactly, but Mike D. showed up in about 35-45. After inspecting the problem, he gave me an estimate. He said that there was a slow leak that had messed up the drywall and he had to cut it out. He installed all new pipes, bought a 2x4 because the new box was smaller than the old box and basically redid the entire site. Mike was so nice and explained everything he did. He realized that I was stressed and made every effort to make this process as easy as he could. If the service men would have brought the new refrigerator inside, Mike D. would have installed it for me. (They came back later and there were no issues installing the new fridge). When I first got the estimate I thought it was high, but I had no choice. In retrospect, I received much more value for my money. I will hire Mr.Rooter and Mike D. for any future plumbing projects."

"<p>I found Mr. Werle 2 years ago when we purchased a nearly 200 year old house and had a small plumbing problem.  He came over quickly, took care of the problem and was reasonably priced.  Last week we discovered an inch of water in our unattached guest house and couldn't figure out what the problem was.  I called Mr. Werle and he was in the middle of another job but said he would be over in 3 hours and instructed me to turn off the main water.</p> <p>Mr. Werle arrived in 2 hours, assessed the situation and made the necessary repairs so that we could have water back on in the main house.  Although the scope of the job was not something he was prepared to take on, he at least got the situation under control and stopped any further damage.  I appreciated his quick response, and appreciated even more his frankness and honesty about what would be needed to completely repair the plumbing in the guest house (there is a leak under the building).  And again, although Mr. Werle did not want to take on the job he did recommend another company that he thought would be better equipped to do the work.</p> <p>I have hired many, many contractors over the years who have assured me they could do the job only to find out halfway through that they could not, or had to significantly increase the prices to finish the job.  Mr. Werle's honesty was not only refreshing but so helpful in repairing the leak.</p> <p>I have already recommended Werle Plumbing to several friends, and will always call him first for any plumbing needs.</p> <br />"

"I had originally called My Plumber, but they were not able to come out immediately. Therefore, I called Duncan Plumbing who is also recommended on Angie's List and they came out the next day. Based on my experience with Duncan, I would NEVER recommend using them again (refer to my separate review on Duncan). In short, Duncan quoted me a repair for $1100 and charged me a $150 service call for basically standing there holding a flashlight while I ran around and made suggestions. Duncan recommended replacing the toilet flange, some piping and recommended a new toilet. Since there appeared to be no immediate emergency (no water running), I wanted a second opinion and called My Plumber. Charlie Bregitzer came out and arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. I explained what happened and that the issue did not reoccur again over the past 2 weeks. Mr. Bregitzer thoroughly inspected and tried to trouble shoot and explain the potential cause and assessed that he could not specifically identify any issues other than the unit had been empty and there could have been a temporary blockage that worked its way out. Since there was no sign of previous water damage he did not recommend making any repairs. In fact, when asked, he did not see any reason to replace the toilet. For the same "potential" work that Duncan had recommended, the cost would have been $200-400 (no toilet required). He had a complete pricing book with details and pictures explaining what the repair would require. He NEVER pushed to sell me anything and recommended to wait and see if it happens again. In fact, Charlie could have charged me $59 for the service call, but elected not to. I told him that without I doubt I would call him/My Plumber with any future repairs. I believe that Charlie was professional and more importantly "honest" and would highly recommend them to anyone based on my experience."
