"Workers not sure about techniques to make 90 degree turns. Used hammer chisels instead of concrete saw for cuts. Made uneven appearance in existing driveway concrete. It will blend over time. Still waiting for City Inspection which is not Company's fault."

"<p>Mr. Douglas Warring is professional, customer focused, and extremely skilled in his concrete work.  The results prove this out.  We are absolutely pleased with the newly poured driveway and front walkway.  Douglas returned my initial call on the same day and within hours provided an estimate.   Based on a very fair price on that same day, we agreed on a date to do the work and moved forward with the project.  Rainy weather became an issue on the planned date, but Douglas expertly worked around a very tight window to accomplish the work within just two days off the original date.  He and his team took special precautions by using plastic sheeting to cover both the prepared ground on the first day and the poured concrete on the second day.  From our very first contact with Mr. Warring, we were impressed.  He clearly displays a level of confidence in his work and his team, as well as a clear commitment to keep his customer's interests in mind.  Several times, he asked me for feedback to ensure he was delivering the end result that we wanted.  If I had questions or concerns, he addressed those directly and made on the spot adjustments.  I increased the scope of the original plan and Doug was eager to work with me to make sure I was totally satisfied with the work.  </p> <p>Mr. Warring's constant presence and command of the work was impressive, and the team performed expertly.  Some team members had decades of overall concrete experience and it was clear that they had years of experience working with each other to produce excellent results.  I highly recommend Mr. Douglas Warring and his business, Affordable Concrete Work and Repair.  I have plans for additional concrete work that we have already discussed.  Douglas, thank you and your team for your expert work and making a tough project an enjoyable experience. </p> <br />"

"We asked Mark to start on October 11th (gave plenty of notice), and with the exception of the hurricane that knocked out power to the island, he started and finished on-time. Each day he couldn't start because the island was literally closed (no power, etc.), he texted me with updates. He's the most communicative contractor I've ever worked with. We needed extra work immediately due to hurricane damage and he was accommodating and responsive, and still finished on time. Very high quality workmanship. Have already recommended him to our neighbor, and would highly recommend him to anyone!"

"Excellent installment of cedar backyard fence. There was some delay in getting fencing wood because of shipping delay(Home Depot) from west coast but this was no fault of the builders.Once the wood arrived they constructed the fence in one day. and cleaned up old fence and debris .The posts were installed a week before. They were friendly and courteous .The fence is beautiful!"

"The end result made it all worth it! The process from start to finish didn't go without its fairshare of bumps, however, Anthony Sylvan and more specifically the project manager, Ray K., did what they could to rectify in a timely manner. Overall, we are pleased with the results and would engage AS again if the opportunity presented itself."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Charleston-afb, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
