Over the decades here in New Bern, I have interviewed and hired dozens of various contractors.  Most, quite honestly, are not worth the powder to blow away.  Case in point, another outfit gave an estimate for this job.  Verbally, they quoted three times as much as Jeff.  Then they promised a follow-up written estimate.  That was the last we heard from those jokers.

All furniture and flooring was covered with drop cloths and tarps, the work promptly began. As the crew was about to complete the task we did a visual inspection and I being a perfectionist pointed out some areas of concern, the team quickly and easily fixed the issue and did their own inspection again. The attention to detail coast to coast offers is amazing, Glenn and his workers even trimmed in some sections of the walls that we had not completed prior to their arrival. When we told Glen not to worry about finishing our project he insisted, on the premise that it would take away from the work him and his crew were going to do and then they did not agree with leaving half finished projects. "He does everything well.  Now, he has become so busy that we haven’t really had him back that much.  The last time we had him almost exclusively was for nine months for getting our house fixed up as it had fallen into a bit of disrepair.  We see him from time to time, and he will take care of our dog for us when we go out.  He would only take on something like a small fixing job, but nothing major.  He can do that, but since he is not licensed to do that, he doesn’t.  He has a lot of pride in his workmanship.  He won’t do something half way.  He is very fair, very honest, and is pretty reasonable on his rates."

My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.
