"Provided a competitive quote for services. Were unable to do framing corrections, but foundation pier solution was at a competitive price. Our buyer cancelled the sale, but I believe the seller went with this company to do the work."

"Eddie and his team did a great job replacing a large section of concrete(650 sq ft) that was caving in due to a failing retaining wall. Eddie provided me with a very detailed quote. Once the concrete was removed, he excavated the stone behind the wall, tore down and rebuilt the retaining wall, installed a french drain, installed washed stone for backfill, installed rebar, and poured and finished the concrete adding some curbing to channel rain water. This was accomplished in 3 1/2 days. The job site was cleaned after each days work and the site was throughly cleaned upon completion. There were certain items on the quote, such as blocks and caps that were not needed so he took them off the price. In my opinion Eddie is a very honest and dependable guy, he works with his well trained crew, and did a fantastic job on the retaining wall and concrete. I highly recommend Guillen Enterprises LLC, for any retaining wall or concrete jobs you might have."

"<p>Privette did a great job of redoing our gravel driveway with the proper material so that it would not get washed away in heavy rains.  They also laid down some rip rap where the gravel used to wash away so that it would not wash any more.</p> <br />"

"The end result made it all worth it! The process from start to finish didn't go without its fairshare of bumps, however, Anthony Sylvan and more specifically the project manager, Ray K., did what they could to rectify in a timely manner. Overall, we are pleased with the results and would engage AS again if the opportunity presented itself."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Chester, SC

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
