"They do great work! From puncutality to price, we will use no other company going forward. Since building a bedroom in our basement, we just had them back last week. We have/had a very small kitchen space in our typical 3 bedroom brick ranch in Chicago. We hired Pawel to remove the adjoining bedroom which we've converted into dining space. This included removal of two walls, reinforcement of two support beams, run electrical for canned lighting, install two other light fixtures, patch drywall and mend existing floors for a great flow. All was completed in a timely manner and of course, the finished product has exceeded our expectations.

"RVA completely redid our bathroom AND our whole basement. They did tile flooring, toilet, vanity and sink, a brand new tub/shower combo with glass doors, basement drywall, prime, paint, and trim. They installed carpet with tile at the landing of the stairs as well as in the office. They were so kind and professional. They did amazing work and communicated with us along the way. "Very good value for your money as compared to other contractors. My main issue is that they picked out a few finishes without our approval that did not align with our design concept that we had showed him. Then when we mentioned it, he said that we would need to re-buy the materials that we would want since the original ones were already purchased. He also finished about 85 or 90% of the project within his original time projection. That said, he didn’t finish the remaining 10 to 15% until several months later. All in all, they offer great value for the money. I would just say you as the client and project manager should just stay on top of the project and finishes and if you do, you’ll be in great hands with Harris. I would definitely hire Harris again for another project."

"I hit the jackpot finding Fil & Thor Build. I live between Chicago and another state and wanted to complete my project while I was away, to avoid having to live through the construction. I had quotes from a couple of other contractors, all provided half baked quotes and were slow to respond to my emails. He said  he had 2 painters available, and they could finish the job in 2 days.
The nice surprise the morning they were to start: He brought over 4 painters and they finished in 1 day.
