"The job took about 4-5 days from tear down of the old deck until the entire deck was completed. All of the workers arrived at about 8 each morning and left about 4:30-5:00 each day. The workers stayed busy throughout their time here. Mr. Rosian was also here each day until the job was completed. We are beyond satisfied and would definitely refer him to anyone looking for any services that he renders."

"Chairs were recalled due to a potential hazard. Manufacturer could not produce a satisfactory redesign so they were replaced with a different model. Northwest Metalcraft did everything possible to make sure that we were satisfied. We are going back there to have our three fireplaces re-done."

"Although crew generally tried to clean up on a daily basis, there were some cleanliness issues, namely, inadequate protection from concrete dust (e.g. no plastic sheeting to protect stored possessions) and carpenters wearing same muddy footwear as had been worn working outside on decks at other jobs.   Duration of job was much longer than expected due to crew working on other, outdoor, jobs intermittently. On the positive side, several additional services involving electric and carpentry were performed as requested after work began."

"Successfully completed. Homeowners completed demo and removal of existing wood deck. The new deck is the same configuration as the old, except to add a pergola over an outdoor kitchen. Archadeck added outdoor electrical receptacles, a natural gas line, a ceiling fan, and step lighting on four sets of stairs. The outdoor kitchen will be completed later by homeowners."

"I had called other companies to assess the job and they all gave my mom the grim story that it all had to come down and estimated very high. My mother really wanted to keep the stone look so I kept contacting others for estimates. Maria came by to assess the work and was able to have the work done in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. We appreciate her responsiveness and her two-man crew were very professional. I will definitely keep their number close by for any additional work needed in the future. <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Chicago Heights, IL

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
