Owatonna Heating & Cooling was founded in 1978 and purchased by Wes and Amy Kain in 1996. Wes brings nearly 30 year background experience in the HVAC industry. Owatonna Heating & Cooling has been offering Carrier products since it was founded. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and residential heating, cooling, and ventilation services. We also provide services for indoor air quality, commercial refrigeration from ice machines to walk in freezers, and design build services with engineered drawings. Additionally we have a complete custom sheet metal fabrication shop.\nIn 2010, Owatonna Heating and Cooling earned the distinction of Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer status, committing our business to the utmost in integrity and professional service. Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers must perform to rigorous national standards consistently and continually in order to qualify for factory endorsement. Additionally, they participate in extensive factory training on technical aspects of equipment installation, maintenance, and repair. We also require our service technicians to be NATE certified. This means our technicians have passed a stringent set of core and specialty exams to ensure their technical competency. They also receive ongoing training specific to Carrier technology and products.\nWe are located in downtown Owatonna, servicing the Owatonna, Medford, Waseca, Claremont, Faribault, Blooming Prairie, Ellendale, and New Richland areas. Community involvement is an essential focus for Wes and Amy and their employees. Being committed to giving back to the community through volunteering, sponsorships, and donations is a key value that we pride ourselves in at Owatonna Heating and Cooling. We have low over head so we can pass the savings on to you. We have two full-time and two part-time Service Techs. We offer Furnace Tune-ups with a furnace efficiency audit for $50 until 12/01/10 then it goes to $65. Others are $85+. Our service calls are $50 hour the first hour plus Parts.\n
