"Great experience. Communication was very quick, clear, and responsive. The work was done on time exactly as agreed upon and the end product looks and works great. Price came in under quote. We wanted to get our fireplace made functional and safe and Smalling provided an economical and minimally invasive way to do this. Another company we spoke with wanted to basically demolish the inside of our chimney and the flue, expand the opening, haul all the debris out through the house, re brick the fire box, and rebuild the top part of our chimney while installing a damper. We did not want to go this far as this method would have been too expensive, invasive, and dirty. Smalling offered another way to accomplish the same goal. They sprayed a ceramic liner into our flue to seal it and heat-proof it, re tuck-pointed our fire box, installed a top-mounted damper and control chain and replaced our rusty chimney cap. This only took one day versus the other method which would have taken three, and it cost half as much as the more invasive method. We are very happy with this more modern and creative approach to our flue/fireplace restoration and we have been enjoying fires in our house for the first time since we bought it."

They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. "The quality of the work was well done.  Greg and Adam are very responsive.  Adam does excellent work, and very fast once he had all the cabinets, etc.  The thing folks need to know is that it takes a very long time to get cabinets custom ordered and to get granite selected and cut.  Make sure you build this in.  Overall I think this project took too long to complete (over two months), but the overall final product was really great.

"We had exterior & interior storm damage from the recent storms by hail & wind. We were given a business card from a friend of ours who had Sanders Home Restorations do a lot of work on their home and referred them to us. We called Mr Sanders and he came to our home to meet with our insurance adjuster to inspect the damage we were aware of. We did not have any problems with any of the work that was completed! All the work took about two weeks from the time it began! We are very pleased with the work and the professionalism of Mr Sanders and his company overall. He took all of the stress off our hands of dealing with the insurance company and organizing all of the work. All we had to do was choose our options and colors! Mr Sanders also gave us numerous upgrades at no additional cost AND he covered our deductible, so we did not have to pay for anything out of our pocket! We are thrilled and would recommend Sanders Restorations to anyone looking for just one company to handle it all and handle it without any hassles.
