"ALF Plumbing technician Rolando arrived around 11:00 am as scheduled. He was very professional and explained exactly what he was going to do. He educated me about how the sewage is set up and how he was going to use a "minor" snake to unclog the pipes that move the garbage from the kitchen. I watched him as he worked and appeared to know what he was doing. He finished the job promptly and showed me how the pipe-line was clogged by grease and fat with his camera. He did an excellent job!"

"Fast - done in 24 hours. Repaired correctly. Unfortunately learned in retrospect that Charging $529 to saw into a wall, replace a pipe secured by a wing-nut. Will call again for an emergency. Otherwise, this does not represent a good value."

"Andy #1 Plumbing was extremely professional, considered and reconfirmed all of our requirements/expectations, and maintained a clean and safe site throughout the project. We were so pleased with their work, we hired them on two other projects and would recommend them without reservations."

Small jobs welcome

"The fellow who did the plumbing work, Ebert Bisset, was simply outstanding. I just bought a house in Visalia and it turned out the underground gutter drainage system was completely clogged and flooding the back yard. Had no idea where the pipes went or where it was clogged. Ebert had an excellent understanding of how those systems were constructed and how to best diagnose where the problems were via a fiber optic camera snake. Was a little pricey but very much worth the expense in this case as I was able to fix the systems without having to dig up and replace everything. Great experience!"

"I saw the Toto on display at Fresno Distributing and talked to the guy at the counter about it.  Very impressed.  Kim's had done superior work for me before so I called and got a quote I could live with.  Took them four days to get here, two hours to remove old one and put in new one.  It refills in 37 seconds, about half the time as the old one. Per flush it takes a lot of paper and poop although I don't "push it." <br />"

"<p>I tried a home remedy to unclog to sink, which was having standing water.  I used baking soda and vinegar, waited 15 min. then poured down boiling water.  I tried this 3 times.  I was still having issues so I checked two traps under the sink and both were clear.  At this point I called Pacific Plumbing.  They were able to schedule the appointment for the following afternoon.  </p> <p>When, Dan - the technician, arrived I advised him of the steps I had taken.  He quickly validated my steps and determined it needed to be snaked.  He was quick, professional and very neat.  The pipe was unclogged and he cleaned the area and was gone as soon as it was completed.</p> <p>I had a 10% off coupon from Angie's List, which I used.  Total cost was $88.20 and about 1.5-2 hrs.  I would use this company again and will recommend.</p> <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Clovis, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
