"The repair went great! The central air went out late Sunday night and Johnson Brother's Plumbing and Heating were able to schedule coming to the house that Wednesday, which was the earliest, based on the other companies we called. Repair technicians were on time, found the problem quickly -- had a bad capacitor. Technicians had correct part in their truck and replaced the part within minutes. Almost immediately, cool air was being blown through the vents. The technicians checked the air conditioning temperature and verified system was working correctly. <br> <br>The technician explained what the capacitor does and answered my questions about the part, then showed me the bad capacitor, explaining when the top of the capacitor is pushed out it's an indication that the part is bad. <br> <br>The price was reasonable and the house was back to being cooled. The technicians also liked dogs, so I didn't have to lock my dogs up. <br> <br>I would definitely use Johnson Brother's Plumbing and Heating again."

"I'm perhaps their smallest customer but you'd think I was a big fish the way they take care of me. I've used them a few times always with outstanding service. But recently, we had near zero temperatures when our very old furnace gave way in our building. They came out within hours but the outdated part needed to be ordered and took a few days. They managed to do a temporary fix to keep the unit nice and warm. Olson Plumbing and Heating is the best! I highly recommend Olsen!"

"The sweeps did an excellent job getting the fireplaces cleaned and explaining the issue with our gas log. We opted to cap off the gas line for now, so they didn't do the repair, yet, but we will call them when we're ready to get it working again. My only negative critique is that the sweeps did not use shoe covers and one of their vacuums left dust. Not a lot, but we had just had the carpets cleaned, so I am especially sensitive to the dust."

"Tyler is the best!!!  I had him come to the house last month because our carbon monoxide detector was reacting to something in the house.  He fixed a gas leak the same day I called for an appointment.  While he was here we discussed having the gas water heater replaced with an electric one since the warranty had expired.  We also have too many appliances in a small area (washer/dryer, gas furnace and gas hot water heater).  On 9/30/13 he replaced the water heater, replaced the gas line and cleaned and repaired the furnace.  He found a hole in the duct work and took care of that too.  During this entire process we found out that the contractor who replaced our furnace in 2006 never pulled a permit.  Tyler researched it for me and pulled a permit so that we could have the hot water heater and furnace inspected at the same time.  The job was done professionally and quickly.  Tyler and his wife, Hannah, were very easy to work with and they answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly.  I have no problem recommending this business to everyone!!! <br />"

"We were very pleased with the level of service from the initial salesman to the installers. We even felt comfortable leaving them in our home while we had to run out for errands. Everything happened on time or sooner. The quality is great. And to top it off, we get a Costco rebate, since they are Costco's contracted provider."

"I needed a vent pipe extended on our roof. Jeff did a fantastic job getting the pipe extended while the roofers were working. The price of the job was reasonable and the customer service was fantastic. I would 100% recommend Green Plumbing for your next plumbing job. "

FAQs for gas piping projects in Coal-creek, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
