"I called Roadrunner and they sent a technician out the same day. He identified the problem and gave me an estimate for the regulator repair and having a new water shutoff valve installed. I felt the cost of the regulator was high and he suggested that I could purchase the part myslef and only pay for installation charges. The part would not receive Roadrunners guarantee, however. I decided to locate and buy the needed parts and called Roadrunner for guidance. They were very helpful in guiding me to the correct parts. I called once I purchased the parts and they came out and installed them the next day. The technician was very professional and friendly. He completed the job in about 1.5 hours and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. A month later, and everything is performing normally."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Air Pro did a superb job removing the existing 50-year-old ductwork in our home and installing all new ductwork. The house could not be cooled evenly (as much as a 10° difference between rooms), but the new system Air Pro designed and installed has dramatically improved things: the whole house is evenly cooled. They also installed an exhaust fan in the master bathroom. The techs, Alan and Mike (I hope I got their names right), were courteous, respectful, and, most important, excellent at their jobs. They ran the new flexible ducting in the attic so that we can still access the areas we use for storage. At one point some damage was done to ceiling sheetrock in the living room, but the guys immediately cleaned everything up, and Jared at Air Pro sent over a sheetrock crew the very next day to make the repair, which was expertly done. Overall we're very satisfied and can recommend Air Pro. Thanks!"

"Alvin was careful to explain prior to starting work that if he required extra supplies, etc it would be on top of the Angie's price. Also, that there was the possibility that it would not be a simple replacement. I expected that. The replacement turned out to be more complicated than I'd anticipated.
The plumbing pipes for hose bibbs are installed between the vertical studs. There is supposed to be a horizontal cross brace that secures the "inside" part of the bibb  with 2 screws into the wood. Turns out, when the house was built in 1997, no cross bracing was added inside the wall, so the unsupported pipe had been shifting each time we turned the faucet on or off for the past 17 years. So, when he went to remove the outside portion, instead of "unthreading" as it should have,  the copper pipe broke off at the joint inside the wall. In order to complete the repair, Alvin needed to make an access port on the interior wall. He very carefully sawed an 8x8" piece out of the drywall, added a wood cross brace to the existing framing, secured the plumbing pipe to it, then attached the new hose bibb on the outside. After completing the repair, he carefully re-fitted the piece to the wall and used some caulk I had to cover the seam.
We were charged only for the difference in supplies, not for the additional time involved, which I was grateful for. I was also relieved that we had decided to have this done. I hate to think about some day going out to turn the hose on or off and have a fountain inside the wall.

"It was a fair visit. My only concern was he was was really pushing me to buy another furnace. My furnace is less than 8 years old and I did get a second opinion, and they said no I don't need to buy a new one. He told me to smell it because there was a carbon monoxide leak, but I smell that from my stove frequently and its only 2 years old.. The service he provided was exceptional My disappointment was there was an intentional up sell, there was an opportunity for the up sell and he took it, but didn't get what he wanted. Please don't think I was upset or anything. I understand that he is a worker, and whatever criteria he used for this upsell, he used it. The second opinion said that if there was a leak it would pick it up immediately. He did clean up after himself. He came when he said he was going to come. He was the only person to come. I don't want to remove im from the list because he wanted to upsell, but I will still use him for basic stuff."
