"The team arrived as scheduled. Alex & Tyler worked well as a team. They installed ceiling fans which we had purchased ahead of time. They had to put in fan boxes for all 3. Also we had to replace 2 bathroom fans. They supplied one of those. Lastly we needed outlets on our porch. They were able to get all this done in about half a day. We were super impressed with the ease of setting up the assessment, scheduling the work and completion of the job. The prices fit our budget. We were not pressured into additional work. In the future we are planning more upgrades around our place and we will be calling Mr Electric again. Than you Alex & Tyler for doing such a great job."

"Very helpful, fixed light switches, installed ceiling fans, swapped out lights. I use them for all our electricity needs in our home. Wes was reccomend to me by my sister who also used Wes for years on all her electric needs, he also added new electric panel for her hot tub. We have always been very pleased with his work over the years, and never had any problems or issues with his work. I highly recommend him to everyone."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I lost power to about have of my house. Talked to a few coworkers and they told me to reach out to Panhandle Power. Got in touch Konnor, who got me in the following day. Was in and out in just under an hour, and only charged me for a service fee. Knowledgeable and courteous, highly recommended!"

FAQs for attic or whole house fan installation projects in Coeur D Alene, ID

Installing an attic fan lowers attic temperatures and reduces moisture, protecting stored items and extending the life of roofing materials. It also prevents mold, mildew, and paint deterioration, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort in the home. This type of protection helps you avoid costly repairs in the future and maintains the integrity of your home.

Installing an attic fan may require multiple professionals. A roofing specialist or carpenter can create the vent and mount the fan securely, while a licensed electrician connects the system to the home's electrical supply. A dedicated attic fan installer may be able to tackle all of these areas themselves, so be sure to confirm what services they can provide. Hiring qualified professionals ensures the installation is safe and the attic fan operates reliably.

The lifespan of an attic fan depends on the type and how well it is maintained. Passive attic fans can last 40 to 50 years, while electric and solar models typically last 10 to 15 years. Regular cleaning and maintenance help ensure the fan operates reliably and safely. Ask your installation pro for their recommendations for ongoing maintenance and service to help your attic fan last for as long as possible.
