"Scheduling was easy, they sent a text with tech name & picture ahead of time, and he arrived as scheduled and communicated. They communicated recommended upgrades without a pushy sales pitch. They also make you aware of anything needing immediate attention. They provide flat pricing upfront and honor those prices if you prefer to think it over before moving forward. Past experience, I know SL honor their $99 diagnosis fee no matter how long it takes, and if not fixed they return for free. They don't put you at the bottom of the list either. They return to fix the issue, even if they didn't initially cause the issue. I have used SL for complete furnace/AC replacement, warranty work, regular service, after hours, and have referred 4 new clients to them. The only reason I have this experience with SL is because of the less than satisfactory experience I had with another HVAC company. SL has come in and replaced wiring, replaced the thermostat after rewiring the thermostat didnt work. And when one wire solution didn't resolve it, they didn't give up. They offered to provide fans in the summer and space heaters in the winter until the issue was identified and corrected. NOTE: The unit SL installed at prior address has only had regular maintenance needed to support warranty for over 8 years. My recurring issues are related to an incorrect installation during new home construction by an HVAC company who outsourced installation and then refused to stand behind their product & service."

"By the time the service rep was contacted and he called us, we had purchased the part and repaired the air conditioner unit ourselves. "It's a $75 service fee every time they send somebody out. It's cheap, you know it's insurance. They're excellent. I have no problems. I've been with them for years. They're fair. They give you a warranty on the repairs that are made. They're always responsive, I've never had any issues with their punctuality. The only problem I have with them is the wait time. The wait time to get to a human is sometimes extended to 20 or 30 minutes sometimes. They got prompts; you can do everything online, but sometimes you need to talk to a customer service representative about something. It takes so long, you'll get to them and once you get to them they're always responsive it just takes them a long time. I renew every year; it's a one-year renewable."
