"The 450 sq ft back patio at my home was cracked and heaving in multiple places. It was pooling water toward our house, and we needed a complete demo and replacement. After researching just about every concrete company in the Colorado Springs area, I brought in four companies to provide bids and get their perspective on the project. I decided to go with Perea Bros because they offered a competitive bid for the job and seemed to really know their stuff. I was completely satisfied by their work and can wholeheartedly recommend them for concrete work. I would hire them again if I ever need other concrete work at my home. If you're like me, you take work on your house very seriously. I want courteous, competent professionals who create high-quality, long-lasting work. Gerardo and his crew walked me through the job and its various steps. They were communicative about their work dates and arrival times. (They often showed up early to get a head start on the project!) They treated my home and property with respect, taking as much care as possible to leave it better than they found it. They didn't leave trash or work detritus on my property even though the job spanned multiple days. They were kind and friendly during the work. I consider myself a pretty decent handyman and have done a lot of upgrades and repairs to the houses I've lived in. I even acted as the general contractor to the restoration of my previous 1925 home. I've reviewed bids and managed multiple work crews spanning: demolition, framing, roofing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, finishing carpentry, and now concrete. I have easily evaluated more than 50 companies in these areas for the various jobs I have needed. I have worked with more than a dozen different sub-contractors in my tenure as a homeowner. Among all these, I would rate Perea Bros among the highest and best crews I've ever worked with. Here's the thing . . . concrete is not a sexy investment to make in your home. It's not a new kitchen or a remodeled master bath. But it can be pricey nonetheless. If you need major or minor concrete work, save yourself the trouble, time, and research I did to find the right company and just hire Perea Bros. You would think with this review I'm somehow getting kickbacks or something. But I just really appreciated Gerardo, his team, and their work. They helped improve my home at a competitive price with work I can trust for years to come. And they did it all with a smile and on-time. Again, if you choose to hire Perea Bros, you won't be disappointed. You might even wish you had more concrete to repair or replace!"

"Our experience was very positive. I dealt with Juan Vigil (by phone at office) and Oswald Hernandez (on-site). We had 50 year old siding removed and they replaced it with Hardie Board siding because of the new law for houses in the WUIF areas (it's fire resistant siding). GS are Hardie Board experts, and it was done very methodically and expertly. They brought in their own dumpster and PortaPotty for their crews. Every day, they cleaned up before leaving. The lights they had to remove to install the siding they replaced in a way that looked much better than before. I feel confident with this new siding! Well Done!"

"HALBROOK MASONRY did an awesome job. They started promptly soon after we accepted their bid. They had quoted 3 weeks to rip out our old rotting deck and railroad tie retaining wall. (Which we thought was a little ambitious for what had to be done). They finished everything in 2 weeks. Along the way as we made requests dan was very accommodating. We love our new outdoor space and would recommend Dans cut stone walls over any of the large awkward boulder natural retaining walls that all the other contractors tried to push on us. Hardworking crew that gets it done."

"I had searched everywhere for someone to do this type of job. HVAC and plumbing didn't want to look at it because of the size (too small), it wasn't HVAC and involved going through drywall. I finally tried C.M. Stone Construction (which I found through a positive comment on Angie's List) because they came up under both carpentry and drywall and advertised that "no job was too small". I described my problem to Ashlee over the phone and he came out and looked at it a few days later. Because the current dryer vent run was almost 25 ft with at least three to five 90-degree turns we discussed re-routing through the attic to the roof versus opening up the current run to diagnose the problem. Ultimately we decided to open the existing run. Two days later, Ashlee and Caleb arrived to do the work. They were on time and prepared. They opened three windows in the drywall to access the duct work. We discovered that, because of the long run and poor design, the middle eight feet of the duct was packed with [probably 30 years worth] of lint...apparently totally immune from any assault by duct cleaning companies (they had just packed it tighter). So the duct was totally cleaned out and an in-duct booster fan was installed to add power to the exhaust. The drywall was closed beautifully and all construction debris was cleaned up completely. For the first time we had a load of wet towels dry completely in one load instead of our usual three to four hours. My wife and I are very pleased with the the work of C.M. Stone Construction."

"Perfect experience from start to finish. The advice, selection and installation was flawless. Price of the stone was some what higher due to acquisition and shipping cost in Denver. The marble required was very specific and not readily available. Otherwise, I highly recommend Planet Granite and would use them again if need be."
