"Everyone we dealt with was kind, friendly, and easy to work with. The inspector, Mark, was very good at explaining the process, and the technicians, Taron and DeShawn did a great job with the waterproofing and foundation repair."

"They installed a heavy duty sump with battery back-up, drainage around perimeter and center of basement and a dry well in back yard. They also patched cracks in floor. When they were done, they cleaned up everything, and the place was immaculate. I thoroughly recommend them!"

"This is one of the BEST COMPANIES I have ever worked with! They are very responsive & HONEST!! - After they excavated the sites it was discovered there where Helical piers from a past job of theirs from many years ago... maybe even 20 years ago. Nolan Beery came down to Indianapolis to see the piers first hand - and covered them with their lifetime warranty. I was not the original owner that added the piers... they found the receipt that they did do the work many years ago for a previous owner of my home. They covered majority of the pier sites under their warranty. THERE ARE FEW COMPANIES THAT HAVE THIS HONESTY & INTEGRITEY LIKE ACCULEVEL. Acculevel is one of the best companies I have worked with. Hands down if you need any foundation work by a professional company that stands by their work Acculevel is the choice!"

"My parents retired late last year and I have been overseeing their property.  I found that the basement carpet was wet and mold began to form.   I was not sure how long the carpet has been wet and wanted to better understand if there were any dangers to the air quality and how to handle a situation like this where mold has begun to form.    I contacted Anew one evening and Erin from Anew promptly contacted me to learn more about my situation.   He as very professional and very understanding as I had  many questions regarding mold as this was my first issue with mold.   Erin was more than happy to answer all of my questions and gave me multiple options that I could take.   I decided to move forward and have air samples taken to understand the type of mold that was in the basement and how bad the air quality was.  The cost of the service was $185, which was well worth the cost.   Not only to have the air sampled but also the education Erin gave me on mold and how to properly handle mold if I were to clear the mold in the basement myself.   The test results from the air samples were returned very quickly just a day after the samples were taken.   Erin emailed the full results in detail and reviewed the results with me via phone to ensure I understood the results.   He also informed me to give him a call with any future questions relative to properly handling and disposing of mold as I work on my parents basement.  Truly a great experience!  <br />"

"I received quotes from multiple companies and they were all comparable. All other companies spent approx 45 min looking at the house and taking measurements. Ayes spent 4 hours total at my home. Very comprehensive, professional and knowledgeable. My home required 21 Helix Piers which are much preferred to Push Piers. Matt was my contact person, Evan was on site. Just an excellent job all round. Evan team hit a main water pipe which caused a small leak in the basement. Matt drove 90 min to my home at 9pm arriving at 10.30 pm to ensure me they would fix the problem. The local water dept turned off the water, Matt spoke with them and had the bill taken care of. The next morning the pipe was repaired and we were off and running. Matt did not leave my home until after 11pm and a 90 min drive home. That is what I call customer service. Thank you Ayers for an excellent job. My family appreciated all your efforts."

"The guys came when they said they would, did what they said they would do and charged me what the said they would charge me. It may sound stupid to state my review this way, but this type of service, unfortunately, isn't very common. The men who came to the house were very professional and I am very pleased with the result."

"<p>Just wanted to drop a line or two and let you all know how impressed we were with both your workmen and their work.  In today's society, you just don't find companies that really do a great job, they usually just do enough to "get by".<br /> <br /><br /> <br />At times, without their knowledge, I was home and could hear some of the men talking.  Much to my surprise, their language and subject matter were always appropriate.  Don't find that much in the labor force today!  It spoke volumes to me.  When they did speak with us, they were always very kind and informative.<br /> <br /></p> <p>The work that was performed consisted of excavating the dirt to gain access to the footings on both sides of the foundation.  On the inside, they had to bust out the concrete floor and hand dig to the footing in order to install their brackets for the "unified lift system".  After installing the brackets, they attached special hydraulic equipment to the brackets which drove 3" diameter<br /> <br />pipes down to bedrock.  Next, they attached a hydraulic jacking system to each pier location.  Using their special vehicle with a unique hydraulic pumping system they attached hydraulic lines to each location and were able to do a controlled lift.  From what we understand, your company is one of the only ones that can perform this "unified lift".<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />We were taking pictures daily and emailing them out to family and friends who could not believe their eyes!  They started out making our basement look like a bomb went off and when they were done it was swept and looking very nice!<br /> <br /><br /> <br />All this to say that the work done was absolutely astonishing!  We will highly recommend EHM to everyone that we hear may need this type of work completed.<br /> <br /><br /> <br />Thanks so much again.  We were dreading having this work completed, but you all made it so much nicer by your<br /> <br />expertise, kindness, and professionalism.</p> <p>Mike and Cheryl <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Better than expected. It's a very long driveway and had numerous cracks and some moss growth. This was the only company that suggested power washing to get it completely clear of moss before sealing and that would guarantee their work. They showed up on time, did very good work. There were a couple of minor cracks that they missed and they came right back to do them, no arguments. Very pleasant doing business with them."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Comstock, MI

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
