"Mark, with B&M Pools is in the process of opening the pool on the home we recently bought. I've never owned a pool before and Mark spent two entire mornings with me, the first evaluating what needed to be done to get the pool open and, once we had done what we needed to do to move to the next step, the second, going step by step with me on what I could do to maintain the pool to keep it clean and safe once his job is complete. We've owned several homes and have had service people for a wide variety of different reason. Of all that we have used, I would say Mark is outstanding in the clearly and patiently explaining what he does in his area of service and what a homeowner needs to do to save on the need for unnecessary service and keep their pool clean, safe and working efficiently. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"The service was great. I was very happy with them. They hauled all the junk when they were done. It was a very nice, neat and clean job. There were four people that came out and they were here for five hours. They were late but I think that they misjudged how far I live so that was okay. I understand because it was a long way away. I also called them when they were late."

They also worked with us to replace the pool pump and housing, all at a reasonable price with the material and equipment we wanted. All was done in a timely manner with the workers acting professionally. My only issue was with communication: After the contract was signed it was difficult to receive a call-back in a timely manner. This may likely have been due to the spring season with a heavy load of projects. In all I would use GL General Contractor again in a heartbeat and will call them for some work this coming winter."
