"We are very satisfied with our purchase of Kinetico water treatment products, including a water softener and an under sink reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration system. We found that the hardness of the city water from our local utility was on the high side, resulting in spotty glasses and wash not coming out clean. We also were concerned about mineral deposits accumulating in our pipes and water heater over time, which could lead to very expensive repairs. These issues have been completely eliminated after installing the Kinetico water softener. An added bonus is a nice ?feel? to the water now when showering, with lots of suds and a fresh, clean rinse. Also, we are enjoying our crystal clear, filtered water from the under sink RO unit for drinking and cooking.  It tastes great and is nearly 100% free of chemicals and contaminants. The entire process of dealing with Kinetico was a pleasure from start to finish. Chuck, the territory manager, was pleasant and knowledgeable, addressing our concerns and questions without ever being ?pushy? or trying to sell us something we didn?t need. "Technician stated hot water heater needed to be total replaced due to normal wear and tear. Hot water heater is initially the hot water heater installed in 1999 when home was built. Choice Home Warranty denied the claim after several years of being a loyal customer, making payments on- time every month. What is the use of having this warranty for times as this and when you need them, they denied the claim? Although the service was good, response time adequate, providing the services needed when your appliance break down and being denied repairs was disappointing and devastating, especially when coronavirus is rampant and you really need your hot water to wash clothes, dishes, bath, shower, and remain sanitary. I am so heart broken because I live on a fixed income and am disable, and can’t afford to purchase a hot water heater at this time. They determined that the water heater was not operating properly as a result of a lack of effective maintenance of the unit. What a crock!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Jorge & Shain came today to re-plumb our entire house. They were so polite and friendly (and they loved my dog as much as she loved them) I feel very confident that all of my plumbing worries are over. Our home had very old pipes and we had discovered a leak (a gusher) . We contacted Best Home Services and they were at hour home within the hour. The gentlemen that came to fix our issue, told us they could fix this problem, but since everything was so old, we would be calling them back for another issue. We decided that we did, indeed, need to replace all of the plumbing, since we are trying to sell our mobile home and return home to Indiana. There again, the gentlemen were very friendly, honest and left the decision up to me. I decided we needed to replace, since in all likelihood, it would not pass an inspection. This was yesterday, and today Jorge & Shain came and completed the installation of all new plumbing.
