"I had an old water heater (was in the house when I moved in about 20 years ago) and it started to leak. After shutting off the water to the water heater, I did a little Angie's List research to find a company to do the replacement. I called a couple and decided to use Randy Lane, based on cost and my interaction with them, which I felt was cordial and helpful, and made an appointment.
The service person arrived on time on the day of the appointment and went to work. He disconnected the old heater and hauled it out. The new heater was brought in and he did the needed plumbing work to connect the water and also made the natural gas connections. He fired up the unit and briefed me on the new unit - how to turn-off the water and gas, if needed, temperature, etc.
The area was left in the same condition as when he arrived.

"I have been using another company for years and was beginning to become disenchanted with them. Last week my hot water heater stopped heating. The the other company I used said my hot water heater was 10 years old and it did not pay to repair it without even examining it. They quoted a price of $2200.00 to replace it. I checked with Champion, referred to me by Home Depot, and was quoted $1100.00 for same heater, labor and haul away. Champion actually examined my water heater and said all it needed was to have a wire cleaned! I was asked what I owed him for the 10 minute fix and he said nothing as long as I remember their company in the future!! I was in shock, what company would not just do the scheduled installation? I have never seen such integrity and concern for the customer with any other Plumbing, Heating or Electrical company in all of my 67 years. I will be sure to use them for all of my Plumbing repairs etc.in the future. Very impressed!!!"
