"We had New Old Remodeling install our siding, a new shingle roof, add 6” gutters, and build a screened-in porch. Everything turned out great! The crew was on time, professional, and the final results look amazing. Definitely recommend them!"

"It is hard for me to put into words the deep appreciation and admiration I have for everyone at The Stone Man for transforming my backyard into my own outdoor oasis. During the planning/ design phase, Chris Davis met with me multiple times, both at my house and on-site at The Stone Man to develop and refine initial sketches. Working with me to understand what my dream goal would be, and finding a way to get the design completed within budget was greatly appreciated. Chris remained professional and patient with me throughout the planning phase, and his work was greatly appreciated. Once the construction began, Jon Purdue and team worked diligently on-site around the clock to transform our design vision into reality; and did the final result exceed expectations! I have confidence the team can complete any project, large or small, after seeing the work completed. The team developed the following: - Retaining wall designed in variable height from approx. 4 feet to 6 feet (to meet an architecture design I requested) - Large covered area with a fireplace, wet bar, and bar seating for 4 - Outdoor kitchen equipped with a custom designed brick oven - Outdoor fire pit with a seating wall, and additional seating for 4 adirondack chairs - Large paver area, complete with matching stone trim, which ties into countertops, fireplace, fire pit, etc. The daily workers on-site (led by Leo) are truly artist at their profession. One advantage of working from home during the pandemic was to be able to see the team hand chipping stone and building truly one of a kind masterful pieces. Jon did an exceptional job managing the project, checking in with me via phone or on-site multiple times a week. When sub-contractors came on-site to complete the work, they presented the same professionalism as the team from The Stone Man. Through conversations with the various sub-contractors, it was evident The Stone Man team performs a lot of reoccurring work with these groups, and the quality of work and professionalism exemplified by the team at The Stone Man was cascaded throughout all groups involved. Post-production, both Jon and Chris continue to check-in to ensure the work quality remains. Whether it be phone calls, text, hand written notes, or stopping by for small adjustments, this team is committed to excellence from start to finish and beyond. Throughout the process, not only did I gain a backyard design beyond my wildest dreams but I truly did gain friends that I hope to have over for a drink/ food to admire their work and realize how happy I am with the finished product. If you are looking for a professional and personable team who delivers the highest of quality work, look no further than The Stone Man. I did lots of research on others as well as this team, and am happy with the decision to proceed with the team."

"Hyatt does outstanding work. From initial contact with Heather in their office, through project planning with Bill, project coordination managed by Cecil, and final installation overseen by Tony, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome to our project. A family-owned and run business, Hyatt goes the extra mile to make sure all your questions are answered. They provided multiple options to meet our project needs, always sensitive to our budget constraints. On-site installation was fast and professional, with nightly clean-up, tarping of exposed soil to prevent erosion and limit mud during brief periods of rain, and final cleaning that included washing down all dirt and soil leavings from the road in front of our house. Hyatt was also very careful with our neighbors' yards, as our lots are small--they sprayed off cars to remove dust and repaired any minor damage to side-yards while being very careful to stay on our property to the extent possible. Our project included a new 512 sq ft paver patio, installation of a gas line for an outdoor grill, and removal and replacement of old landscaping in both the rear and front yards. During the project we exposed existing sprinkler lines that needed repair and/or re-routing; Hyatt also changed some sprinkler lines to drip to keep the new beds watered with minimal waste. Hyatt coordinated all the necessary subcontractors for our project including tree removal, plumbing, and electric work. Hyatt is fully insured and used subs that were likewise insured. Very professional, very attentive, with excellent on-site project management. We'd hire Hyatt again for any future projects we might have."

"We interviewed several contractors prior to making our decision. We selected Crown as Kevin Woods provided us with several sample colors of siding, a lengthy list of homes in the area with the colors so we could see real life examples and outlined a vision for how the work would be done that made sense to us. Every worker that came onto our property was respectful, treated our home like they would their own, and did a highly professional job. From start to finish, we received expert guidance and an excellent work product so that our home is very attractive and living up to its full potential."

"Fantastic, they not only was able to come out same day they quote a very fair price for all the work and completed it all in a timely manner. Cleaned up 100% and was excellent in explaining everything and showing the final work. They also did a small electric repair that wasnt listed and didnt charge me. I couldnt be happier with Central Construction they know how to anything and worked quickly and professionally. Thank you Cliff and George! I'll use them again."

"Kam and his crew installed helical anchors to address the settling issues, replaced the rotted sills and rebuilt the short wall over that area. He also addressed the water issues that contributed to these problems by having his guys dig some french drains, removed foundation plantings that were too close to the house & other bushes that were more a case of unsightliness than anything else & fixed a leak on garage roof as well. He graciously helped us with a couple of other problems that popped up that were not part of the scope of work. Kam, his son-in-law John and their small but pleasant crew were a pleasure to work with."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Cramerton, NC

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
