"I prepared a scope of work document for our 120 year old house and spent several months interviewing contractors, touring them through the project and conducting pricing and material/method reviews of their bids.

Chris included all items on the scope doc in his bid. After much deliberation some of the items changed as I decided to approach them differently. I made detailed notes on five of the bids and asked for pricing revisions. Chris was again the only contractor who took this request on quickly and revised his bid accordingly within a few days.
