"Bordner was a wonderful company to complete and repair the mess left by an independent contractor who destroyed our small but, functional bath & shower. Bordner's install technician, Mike Williams is professional, polite, knowledgeable and a problem solver. He came into a horrible mess and took on each challenge with a smile. Thank you Mike Williams. The bathroom is beautiful!! Ask for Mije Williams."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marvin at Summit Peak Plumbing is the real deal. Had him out for multiple jobs, and every single time he showed up professional, friendly, and ready to work. He’s the kind of guy who actually explains what he’s doing, doesn’t upsell you on things you don’t need, and adjusts on the fly when the job throws a curveball — without nickel-and-diming you for it. Pricing was completely fair and transparent. No surprises on the invoice. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest plumber in the area — stop searching. Call Marvin. I’ll be using Summit Peak Plumbing for everything going forward."

"Greg was the first service person I've dealt with who took the time to explain the problem and recommend several steps to take care of it. He returned to provide the service for step one, completed the job quickly, and left me with a functioning sink and garbage disposal as well as the name of another service provider for the next step. It's great to know that I've finally found a plumber I can feel good about calling again!"

"The proficiency at which the plumber knew his profession was demonstrated during this visit.
The original call was to diagnose 4 leaky faucets. I was advised to purchase 4 faucets to install if the plumber was unable to repair the leak. Good advice. The leaks were unable to be repaired.
I presented the faucets to the plumber and he installed them all within the two hour window with 10 minutes to spare.
I would definitely use this company again.

"After seeing a coupon and reading some reviews on Angie's list, I called Paul at 8:00am after the refrigerator had not been working for the past 24 hours. He returned my call by 9:00am and set an appointment time between 11:00am and 1:00pm. He arrived on time. He tested several parts of the fridge and explained that the problem was with the defroster thermometer. Went to purchase the new part and replaced it. I was so pleased that he actually returned my call in a timely manner, arrived at the appointed time, and explained exactly why the fridge wasn't working. He was friendly and the price was very fair. We will keep his business card handy for any other repairs we need."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Cripple Creek, CO

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
