"With our rather old cabin-style home, the plumbing from the kitchen sink had a plug of hardened grease over 30 years old. We discovered this the first day when they drilled through it with a snake; we had them return a couple of days later with a hydrojet unit to clean it out. Our house is located in the mountains, and may not be particularly easy to get the equipment out here, but they had very little difficulty. They used a lengthy hose to go around the back of the house, then sent the nozzle through the pipe behind the trap to clear it out. I was originally concerned about navigating past the elbow joints in the pipe, and the fact that we have a septic tank that I didn't want to fill up; but neither was a problem, and the job was done in about an hour. The sound of the drain flowing never sounded so sweet."

Also had a leak in the garage, others quoted us to open up the ceiling to fix. He was honest and said he wasn't sure where the leak was coming from and we should wait and see if the leaky tub faucet he repaired was the cause first and he would come back if it was still a problem.
