"The entire process was as explained on the web site. Unique for the window industry, there was no sales person at my house with high pressure sales tactics. I had 2 local local companies and Lowes come out for the dog and pony show. All 3 were varied in THEIR prices and the closest price was still $2500. more than Window Universe. As far as I could tell, there was not much difference in the quality of the mid level vinyl windows between all suppliers. The stats on the Berkshire Elite were as good or better than that of the other 3. Seemed like a easy decision. <br /> <br /> Josh, representing the local installation process, came out and measured.  He was very courteous and professional. Once measured, it took another 6-7 weeks for installation.  <br /> <br /> Installer showed up early and on time and did his best to finish all 14 windows in 1 day. Windows were as expected and installation seemed to go well. Installers cleaned up area nicely. In the effort, there were several overcuts into my hardy siding that I felt were over and beyond what one should expect from the installation. Josh came back to inspect and agreed. The installers came back out about a week later and replaced and/or repainted all places where we felt there was excessive damage due to the overcuts.  <br /> <br /> I am extremely pleased with both Window Universe and the local installation team. They did communicate and work closely together which was a concern of not hiring a local manufacturer. Overall, I am extremely pleased with how the windows have come out and would recommend/use Window Universe again. <br />"
